Woman MCA Hospitalized After A Dog’s Beating Infront of Senator Kipchumba Murkomen By Fellow MCA

We always knew politicians especially the caliber found in county councils are quite the mad kinds, the fights and shouting marches being expected scenes in the halls.

Well, things just got to a new level and the fights can happen even in members only clubs and in the presence of senior political figures. Seriously, these fellows have no sense of timing and occasion.

In a meeting to discuss a 20 billion hydro-electric and irrigation project in Uasin Gishu county attended by both the governor Alex Tolgos and Senator Kipchumba Murkomen alongside area MPs, a male MCA let hell loose upon his female colleague.

Trouble started when the MCA Philemon Koech could take no more of what he termed as insults and persistent provocation from his female counterpart nominated MP Rael Limo.

He struck and lashed at her several blows hurting her and two other female MPs who had come to their friend’s rescue. The lady sustained injuries on her face and head and was allegedly rushed to the Mediheal hospital after her blood pressure rose to 220 from the beating.

She has said she will consult her family on the next action to take. On his part Philemon says he will seek security as some of the lady’s statements were threats to his personal security.
