President Uhuru Kenyatta recently appointed new 7 Cabinet Secretary who were compelled to declare their wealth as they were being vetted in Parliament.
The seven have a combined net worth of Kes 2.6 billion. The figure is what caused wild excitement on social media.
Top of the list is former Laikipia East MP Mwangi Kiunjuri who is worth Kes 798 million. Before he even became an MP, Mwangi was a tout and a teacher.
