Why Mama Sarah Obama Is Making Headlines Even Before Her Grandson Sets Foot In Kenya This Month (Photos)

Barack Obama, the most powerful fellow on earth, is closer home than you ever imagined. The US president is coming to Kenya this July and his imminent visit is expected to be the talk in town for the better part of July and probably beyond.

But his coming is not missing drama either. In fact, the melodrama that has already started hitting the screens is expected to reach its peak on the day POTUS sets foot in Kenya.

From Uganda to Kogelo to the streets of Nairobi and spefically to Harambee House, so much is happening in the short time we have before he jets in.

And one of those who don’t want to be left behind in this abdacdabra of happenings is Obama’s grandmother, Mama Sarah Obama.

The old mama from Kogelo is in the capital, probably to see what the government is doing to welcome his grandson? To complain about one or two things?

Well, news is that Mama Sarah is already pushing hard to compel his grandson to visit her in Kogelo. This American boy was here several years ago before he became president.

And news that Obama will be in the country for just 8 hours haven’t gone down well with the granny. Among the people she has already met for help is Nairobi County boss Evans Kidero wom she visited in his office.

Kidero says that Mama Sarah is around to see what Nairobi is doing for her grandson. Quite a responsible granny I must say.
