Why Jaguar is Also a “Shujaa”
Sunday, the country celebrated Mashujaa Day characterized by pomp and colour with the head of state headlining the celebrations. While the rest of us unwound thanks to the long weekend in another part of Nairobi, singer Jaguar was making a difference in someone’s life.
Just a couple of days after he led the disarmament mission of the feuding Dandora dumpsite groups, a gesture that earned respect and admiration from his fans, Jaguar was on yet another altruistic mission. Jaguar and Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko, celebrated Mashujaa Day by hosting a big party for inmates at the Kamiti Medium Security Prison with their friends and families.
The inmates had a chance of mingling with their loved ones for the whole day. Entertainment was top notch as all the inmates’ kids were face painted, they had a lot of fun playing on the 5 bouncing castles hired for them. There were performances from the “Kipepeo” singer, Ringtone and the talented Sarakasi acrobats.
