Huddah Monroe celebrated her birthday over the weekend and for once decided to go against the grain of lavish celebration.
Her nemesis Vera Sidika caused a stir with a jet party and also used the moment to reveal the man in her life. She chose to use the occasion to visit children’s home and celebrate with them and her Huddah Foundation.

She went to the Kids of Light and Hope Children’s home and along with the staff, the kids and her friends, threw down quite a hug party. The children proved good sport and at one point literally gave Huddah a bath when they showered her with two pails of water. The prominent socialite was using the moment to give back having risen from the slums to her current status.
Keeping in mind how she and several other socialites have always competed against each other in appearances and expenditure, this is a welcome departure. It also adds to her recent efforts to come across as mature and build a positive image around her brand.
Her recent activities have included starting a well received lipstick business, motivational speeches and other entrepreneurial ventures. Here is a photo and a video of how her birthday party went down.
