UoN Students Disrupt Str8-Up Live Recording Demanding For Bribes!
A recent discovery shows that there are cartels of deceitful university students who are operating within various campuses in the country, soliciting for payments from individuals and groups planning to hold events at university grounds.
One such group is in University of Nairobi where the KTN’s Str8-Up crew were harassed and barred from broadcasting live even in the presence of the university’s security personnel. KTN crew had booked and paid to broadcast live in the university’s graduation grounds but on the day of the recording, the rogue students disrupted the recording demanding for Kshs. 100,000.
The UON students were caught on tape harassing and mishandling a female guest for recording the morning events on her mobile phone. The students had taken offence that the guest had done so without their permission. They first tried to drag her off the field with them but she resisted, they then resulted to holding her in place as they deleted data from her phone. The rogue students at UON disrupt Str8-Up recording demanding KSh. 100,000 as ground fees so that they could allow them to broadcast live.
The group revealed that they have been doing this for a while now but unknown to them, the camera was rolling and recorded all the conversation they had with the KTN team. This begs the question whether the university administration is aware of such corrupt deals made by the said group of students. Check out;
