Unveiling the Best Film Blogger/Journalist

Only a few months after actors.co.ke won the best niche market blog at the African Blogger Awards 2014, the founder, actor and blogger Gerald Langiri, has yet again scooped another award.This time a more personal one.

The talented actor was announced “Best film blogger/Journalist” at the just concluded African Film Development Awards (AFDA) 2014 which were held in Zanzibar.

The African Film Development Awards is geared at recognizing excellent individuals and organizations that have distinguished themselves in their contribution to the growth and development of African Cinema cultures.

Gerald Langiri, through his blog www.actors.co.ke writes about acting, actors and film related affairs in the Kenya film industry.

He also has two nominations in the Kalasha Film and Television awards slated for the 25th of July at the national museum in the Best lead actor in a film category for the sexy comedy House of Lungula (which also has 9 other nominations) and as best supporting actor in the KTN TV series Stay.
