From a University professor to a working dad in Kisumu…These are the 6 proud men who openly carry babies on their backs without feeling ashamed (Photos)
Men carrying babies on their backs is somewhat considered a taboo in most African societies. But some men do it without feeling ashamed.
A photo of a man carrying a baby on his back at the airport has sparked ridicule from a majority of male population while at the same time the photo attracted applause from ladies.

While most men were amused by the photo, the idea of men carrying babies on their backs is not strange per se.
A dad in Kisumu takes his baby with him to work; Silas Odhiambo popularly known as Apuoyo Biggy caused a stir when he revealed that he would rather go to work with his baby than leave her with a house help. He carries his child on baby carrier and goes with it to work every day.

Professor Honore Kahi of Bouake University in Ivory Coast also caused mouths to wag when he was seen lecturing while carrying a baby on his back. The professor decided to wrap the baby on his back so that the mother, a student at his class, could concentrate on her exam.

There are several other photos that also show unknown men carrying babies on their back; take a look below:
