Ungrateful Adopted Daughter Snatches The Husband Of Her Foster Mum And Now Lives With Her

In a strange case of the hand of fate, a woman in Nairobi is recovering from a painful emotional ordeal having seen a daughter she adopted turn to co- wife and later snatching her husband causing her to be divorced.

Mercy Igoki, a mother of two sons and currently the senior assistant registrar at Pan African University has moved on from the experience but she still finds it painful that a girl she adopted and raised as her own daughter from when she was 16 years old and took her through high school along with a husband she met while in CU would betray her that much.

The trouble started when Mercy was out for her undergraduate classes and the adopted daughter had cleared her high school and was at home alone since she was three years older than the couples elder son back in 2008. She was informed by her neighbor of the daughter’s new status as co-wife and when she confirmed the allegation, she was set for a shock.

Confronting the two, she was surprised when the man threw the blame on her accusing her for having brought the girl to him. Matters escalated till the lady had to move away from the home in 2010 when she was given the ultimatum of having her adopted daughter as a co-wife or the marriage ends.

The couple got divorced officially last year in April. The lady has since forgiven them and is recovering from the heart wrenching experience
