If we were all allowed to work in the comfort of our homes, we would hear less complaints from many, about employment being challenging. Today, Ghafla explores what exactly makes work a hard thing to do, and what makes people hate everyday they have to report to the office.
Evil Boses.
Number one on the list, is the bosses who are scared that you may take their jobs away. These do everything in their power to tarnish your name, or make you stay at the workplace regrettable. Others may use intimidation, to get you to do more than you are contracted to do. Research shows that most people leave because of their bosses.
Conflicting Loyalties
Just like it was previously hard to balance between academics and leisure back in school, in the workplace the options get heavier. You have to balance family, sometimes education, leisure, stress, and work all at the same time. Often times, different types of work may not give sufficient time for you to concentrate on yourself.
Jealous employees
Many people at the workplace want what others have. It is a political setting, with everybody fighting for recognition, and a biggest portion of the cheese. Your own colleagues at times make your work hard, in a way that they they throw you into the fire where need be.
Poor Work Environment.
It is advisable not to work with an organization, where the culture does not in any way match yours. A poor work environment will make you lazy to move to your place everyday. Poor work culture, tribalism, poor policies, and others, are all examples of such a condition.
Poor Allocation of Human resource.
Work can also be hard, especially if it is not in a field that you specialize in, and are interested in. Sometimes we rush into jobs for the sake of getting fast earned cash, and forget about our very own job satisfaction. .
