Winnie Nwagi and voltage music are currently in a song ownership battle with an upcoming artiste known as Banjo UG over a song which he claims is rightfully his.
Banko claims he concieved the song and planned to record it with the duo at Sound Print Studios owned by Voltage Music.
“We were supposed to do a remix of one of my songs but then I thought why not record a new track. That’s how we came up with Byadala,” Banko narrates.
“We were planning to shoot a video but I was surprised when I saw Kent and Flosso saying they had a new song called ‘Byadala’ with Winnie Nwagi,” he adds.
Banjo has released his version on YouTube and promises to sue if Nwagi releases hers.
Banko says he is going to court if Nwagi releases the song. He has since uploaded the original version online.
Since mid last year news has revealed that Winnie Nwagi has put pressure on her label swangz avenue to make her a concert or she leaves. Bosses have now gone into panic mode trying to sell the concert to event organizers and promoters to no avail.
Word on the grapevine is that KT promoters boss denied their offer advising them to go ahead and stage their artiste a concert since they are also events organizers.
The question now is, Is Swangz Avenue trying to rush themselves of Nwagi or do they not think she is a lucrative as their new catch Vinka?

There has been word on the street that Winnie Nwagi could quit Swangz Avenue, a label she has been signed to since her ascent to fame.
It is claimed that the label is not giving her career a deserved promotion. She has however always said in interviews that she is happy with the label.
With her contract ending in a month, speculations over her future have been in overdrive. Many say she will not sign to extend her stay.
The label big shots have also gone ahead put some juicy offers on her table, including organising her maiden concert come next year.

Reliable sources say Winnie Nwagi is not happy with the attention her bosses are giving to work mate, Vinka, who is rising to fame very fast, a reason she has of recent abandoned Swangz Avenue events.
Winnie Nwagi failed to appear at the just concluded Buzz Teeniez Awards organised by Buzz Events, a sister company to Swangz Avenue over the weekend just days after she had arrived late during the launch of “Swangz All-Star Tour Concert” at the Square, Industrial area.
However, Winnie’s bosses claim that everything is ok with the singer.
It is remembered that Irene Ntale’s exit from Swangz Avenue also started after she felt neglected by her bosses.
Curvy singer Winnie Nwagi broke up with her boyfriend and reggae singer, C’zabur after 3 years of dating.
According to her Snapchat updates, the singer claimed she had been physically abused. She further claimed that her lover was not meeting his responsibilities like paying the bills.
C’zabur also destroyed house property in Nwagi’s apartment which included television sets, phones among many others.
The latest info is that “Musaawo” singer is no longer enjoying cold nights. She is dating a guy identified as Stifler Jibz (Instagram names).

Earlier this week, there were reports from different sources that Vinka and Winnie Nwagi were having a catfight.
According to the sources, Nwagi was not happy with the way Swangz Avenue was pushing the newbie’s career and paying less attention to her. When we spoke to Vinka about her claims,she said she had no idea what people were talking about.
“If i am fighting with Winnie, i will be the last person to know because i dont see that happening anytime soon” she said
Swangz avanue boss Juius Kyazze said it was no news adding that such things were expected and once ignored, they come to pass.
Last year Irene Ntale left Swangz Avenueafter working with them for most of her career sighting similar differences. Vinka her former manager had started her singing career and she felt under valued.
She is curently a solo artist with Sandra Ntale, her sister, as her Manager.

The concert details
Wiz Kid will be in Kampala come 7th December 2017 at Lugogo Cricket oval.
The singer will be in Kampala for a musical fest dubbed “Thursday Night Live with Wizkid” organized by Face TV Uganda.
This comes after the African Superstar missed his show earlier this year which caused backlash from his Ugandan fans.
The tickets are being sold at all Shell Select stations country wide, Funz Video outlets, Quicket.co.ug (for online purchases), Face Studio Bugolobi and all Star Times outlets.
They will also be available at the entrance point at the show at UGX 300,000 for VVIP, UGX100, 000 for VIP and UGX 30,000 for ordinary.
Old ticket holders who wish to redeem their tickets from the previous purchases should come to the FACE Studio offices between 6th and 30th November.
