Ntinda butchermen caught with deadly chemicals to preserve meat

Ntinda butchermen identified as Kayondo Joseph were arrested earlier this over the weekend with a concoction of chemicals to preserve the meat for sale.

The KCCA public health team netted the duo with bottles containing the deadly chemicals.

The chemicals keep away flies, prevent decay and keep the meat looking appealing to the eyes for a much longer period.

The most common chemical used is formalin which is also used to treat dead bodies.

The chemicals are readily available downtown at various pharmacies. Keep on the look.
