Miss Tourism Uganda 2017 Queens Officially Unveiled

The search is on, and the crew asked each region around the  country to choose who they thought represented them the best. Twelve regions, various beauties, but only one can be chosen to be the representative and promoter of Uganda’s Tourism industry. The battle to be Miss Tourism Uganda 2017 is on, and the team has unveiled the list of beauties who will be competing against each other, during an event held at Pearl gardens, Sesse, Kalangala, on the 23rd of September this year.

The theme for this year’s and the fifth edition of Miss Tourism is Let the Pearl Shine, and this pageant was officially launched in May. We predict that this event will be big because a little boost was given by Radiant cosmetics during the launch of 130million and a BMW mini cooper.

The ladies also honored the Late Hon Maria Mutagambwa, the former Minister of Tourism, wildlife and antiquities. The late Mama Maria had a passion for the young, environment, tourism and water. According to the family, she died of cancer of the liver at Case Hospital, Kampala. May her soul rest in peace.

The Battle has officially began. You chose these ladies, basing on attributes that you thought stand out. Now it is time for them to compete with other women from around the country, in different tasks, outfits and intelligence assessments. You already know some of them. Challa Elma Kapel; Miss Tourism Karamoja, Miss Tourism Eastern; Wanyenze Gloria Ayebare Anita; Miss Tourism Ankole, Miss Tourism Teso- Amuge Getrude Olungura, only to mention but  a few.
