Keturah Kamugasa Passes on at 50

It is sadness and darkness for the fashion and journalism industry, as they have lost one of the most talented souls that ever existed. Keturah Lydia Kamugasa, who many refer to as a fashion guru, has left this world, at the age of 50 years.

Keturah was an editor and had worked with New Vision in her earlier years. She has also written various articles, and worked on editing the bride and Groom Magazine. She then took over editing the flair magazine.She had her own column in the New Vision called “Style with Keturah Kamugasa”.

From the various messages on Social Media, Keturah has been an inspiration and mentor to many. Social media is flooded with condolence messages for this precious person. Her friends and workmates describe her as a constantly jolly, humorous and happy person, who nurtured their writing skills.

From our sources, we know that her writing not only focused on style and fashion, but also covered education, health and gender issues.

HOW KETURAH KAMUGASA DIED

Word coming in is that the peaceful soul passed on at the International Hospital Kampala (IHK) at around 3:30pm yesterday due to a heart attack. It is said that she had collapsed at her office last Wednesday and was admitted to the said hospital.

A legendary media personality and critic, a fashion analyst and guru. May her soul rest in peace and may the Lord comfort the bereaved family.
