Hamisa Mobetto loses child support case against Diamond platnumz

Hamisa Mobetto has lost her case against Diamond Platinumz, her baby daddy, claiming child neglect.

The case has been thrown out by the Children’s’ Court in Dar es Salaam.

Mobetto was demanding a monthly upkeep of TShs230,000 for the son she had with him after an affair.

Diamond, confessed to the affair on Tanzania’s cloud FM amid an uproar among Zari Fans.

On Friday, the Resident Magistrate Devotha Kisoka dismissed the case sighting insufficient evidence to support the child neglect case.

When presented to the Magistrate,  Diamond, through his lawyers, objected the case.

They argued that Hamisa had filed the case using the wrong Child’s Act prescription.

Diamond also argued that he has been supporting his son adequately and that the amount Hamisa was asking is way above what he could afford.

With the case dismissed, it implies that Hamisa will have to again re-organise her case and maybe file the charges afresh.

By the look of things however, Hamisa Mobetto may have to work three times harder to get to Diamond.

This is because he recently reunited with Zari, His “wife” with whom he has two children, business and a home.
