Coke Studio signs Mega deal to remake 10 Radio and weasel songs
Image: Mowzey Radio will always be missed by his friends, family, fans and the entire country, UgandaRadio and weasel music is bound to live forever now that coke studio bought the rights to Radio and Weasel songs with plans of being redone by top African artistes.
Having given us multiple hit songs for over a decade, one of Africa’s greatest duo Radio and Weasel unfortunately lost the lead singer Mowzey Radio.
Lack of professionalism in the systems of music compilation and copyright, threatened Radio’s Music that would see unreleased music being sold off to other bidders.
We witnessed a few of the cases where Radio’s music was misused and now Coke Studio Africa is coming in to rescue the day, at least, by buying rights to the duo’s music with intentions of having it redone by some of Africa’s music icons.
Ten songs will be shared amongst singers like Mr Eazi, Efya, Diamond Platnumz, Davido, Flavour, and others. This is all in tribute to the late singer’s contribution to Africa’s music industry.
