Coach Micho, ex-Uganda Cranes coach winning in South Africa
There were many rumors that Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic was leaving the Uganda Cranes, that were later confirmed with time. The coach had earlier on complained about delays in his pay and explained how disgruntled he was. This year, Micho decided to leave Uganda’s National club and seek greener pastures. He had however achieved a lot for the Uganda Cranes, and they had even managed to qualify for the AFCON.
Micho terminated his contract with FUFA as they failed to settle his salary for more than three months.
He returned to Orlando pirates a day after Kjell Jonevret resigned. This is his second time in the club however, since he first led it in 2006, and was sacked after just a few games in charge.
We welcome back Milutin Sredejovic, coach Micho, A man whose integrity I respect. Said Irvin Khoza, Pirates owner. When he left, he left graciously. Now he comes back with a great record and experience throughout the continent.
There is good news coming in from South Africa with regards to Micho. In the South African Championships, his team, The Orlando Pirates are currently joint top of the table with Maritzburg United with seven points. Sources also say that regardless of his, the pirates are still ahead in goal difference.
They also still have an opportunity to go on top of the table if they travel to Maritz burg this Friday. Good luck Micho, and the Orlando Pirates, and thank you for the services you offered to our Uganda Cranes.
