Bebecool represents Uganda as UN TB ambassador in Rwanda
As celebrities get serious in the political arena, Bebe cool happens to be 10 steps ahead thanks to playing nice with the ruling government.
Bebe Cool is in Kigali, Rwanda, representing Uganda as the United Nations Ambassador for Tuberculosis. He was one of the panelists for the ongoing African Regional TB Summit, together with the Executive Director Stop TB Partnership Ms.Lucica Ditiu, Ms.Marijke Wijnroks of Global Fund, Brain Flo an artist and Zambia’s TB Ambassador.
While borders are closed he is still flourishing in the land of Seven hills.
In Bebe Cool’s presentation, he encouraged all persons to go for TB testing. “The need for African celebrities to embrace the cause and create more awareness and engagement about TB, just like it was the case with HIV- AIDS.” he commented.
“I believe these are executable ideas and the fact that the rate of TB infections has surpassed that of HIV-AIDS we need to act now,” he continued.
