Miss Tourism Busoga Beauties Meet The Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga

The beauty Queens from Miss Tourism Busoga, headed to meet the speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga. They did this as an appreciation to her, for promotion of tourism in their region. The team interacted with the speaker, and shared various ideas concerning Tourism in Busoga.

“We plan to establish tourism clubs in schools in Busoga sub-region and organize competitions and quizzes in Lusoga,” said Kamuya Kitamirike, who spoke on behalf of the team.

They also presented a certificate of registration of Miss Tourism Busoga Association, requesting Rebecca Kadaga to be their Patron. She accepted this agreed with the tourism ambassadors .

The speaker of Parliament was also pleased with their visit, as she posted on her wall;

“Tourism is one of the greatest treasures that Uganda has ever had and that is why were named the Pearl of Africa.

I feel good every time i see young people rising up to promote the culture and heritage of our country and that is why i do appreciate Busoga Kingdom for their efforts towards promoting Tourism in Busoga Kingdom and showing the young generation that Culture and Heritage are the foundations of our state.
