Heavy Rains paralyze Kampala traffic once again
Kampala, for the past few months was something short of a desert. The dry spell has hit almost every aspect of the city from dry dusty roads to hot sweaty nights.
Not a day went by with out a rant on facebook about the heat but rural areas were hit the most. Food became scarce and expensive.
While the heavy rains last night seemed like a Savior, the traffic is a different story. Industrial area, has been flooded causing hours of traffic. Other roads affected are greenhil road, Namuwongo and mukwano.
Clock tower and other surburbs of Kampala like Najjera, Ntinda and Nakawa are impassable this morning. The safest option is to walk if you have to get to work early.
