Church leaders Blast Tourism minister over the Miss Curvey pageant

”That is the scandal of the highest order and i condemn it in the strongest terms,” says Ethics and integrity Minister Fr Simon Lokodo.

The minister of Ethics and Integrity blasted the Tourism minister over the Miss Curvey Pageant and described it as the biggest disgrace to the nation and society as a whole.

While addressing journalists on Wednesday 6th February at Uganda Media Center , Fr. Simon Lokodo wondered how the pageant scheduled to be held this June will help the country . He assures it as an  immoral and dangerous event.

He there after reminded the organizers of the event that there are many other genuine and recognized strategies the Ministry of Tourism in Uganda can resort to to promote tourism in Ugandan that dont even require marketing.

The Miss Curvey pageant was launched by the minister for tourism Mr Kiwanda at Mestil Hotel in Kampala. The lead organizer Ann Mungona believes that when these ladies flaunt their well curved bodies , it will enhance appreciation of Ugandan people.
