Another Loss to The Entertainment Industry: City Comedian King Kong MC Dies

The entertainment industry in Uganda has lost yet another talented soul. Comedian and dancer , King Kong has passed on.

Real names Hassan Ssempala, the stage pro is said to have died on Sunday after succumbing to a fever. His body, which was at a clinic around his home in kanyanya  was moved  to Mulago hospital for postmortem.There were earlier reports that King Kong had gotten Malaria, but there is still no evidence that this could have been the direct cause of his death.

KING KONG INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT

Drama was his main thing, and he was never shy to pull off any performances. King Kong rose to the scene four years ago, taking the whole country by storm. He was unfortunately involved in a fatal accident, that injured and broke some of his bones. Many close friends say that he has had complications ever since this unfortunate happening.

“King Kong Mc, it was  a great opportunity to have met and worked with you. You became a friend and a brother to me and my family,” Eva Mbabazi, his long time manager wrote on her wall.
