14 Year Old Bonita Murungi Nominated For the 2018 International Children’s Peace Prize
It is good to help your child discover some of their interests and talents at a young age. Bonita Murungi, at 14 years of age, has been nominated for the 2018 International Children’s Peace Prize. She is an Author, who has shared her talent with many children and adults, including through the TED Talk shows in the country.
At the age of ten, Bonita still a primary five student at Agha Khan back then, was the first winner of the National Library of Uganda Author Awards. Right now, a Senior one student, and has received one of the biggest nominations ever. the International Children’s peace Prize was founded by the Children’s Rights Foundation in 2005. It awards the children who fights and stands for other children’s rights. She is set to compete with 120 other children from all over the world.
The winner of this award is set to win an education grant, a grant for a project, and a platform to promote their ideas. Congratulations Bonita and we wish you all the best.
