Tycoon Chris Kirubi Song is Finally Out (WARNING: EXPLICIT CONTENT)

Have you noticed how many rap songs over the past few years have had a famous person’s name for a title? Well, Kenyan artists seem to have found a better and easier way of penetrating the music scene; singing about who-is-who is the country.

Name dropping has always been prevalent in Hip-Hop music, but it seems as if rappers aren’t just dropping names, they’re dedicating entire songs to other celebrities. Nowadays you’re seemingly no one if you don’t have a song named after you. After ‘Jeff Koinange’ here comes ‘Chris Kirubi’.

Thanks to the success of the entrepreneur, industrialist and businessman, rapper Jakaqu of Spades drew inspiration from that and made a rap song out of it.

Jakaqu goes H.A.M. with explicit lyrics but hails the Capital FM proprietor and rapper STL;

“Jakaqu be the name, Kirubi is the dream, STL is my girl you can call me a dreamer”
