Trump now claims Clinton uses drugs as he maintains elections are “rigged”
US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has sensationally claimed that his Democrat rival Hillary Clinton, has been “getting pumped up” with performance-enhancing drugs.
Trump now wants Clinton to take a drug test before their final debate on Wednesday.
Trump during a rally in New Hampshire, said that Clinton has been getting “pumped up” during the presidential debates.
“I think we should take a drug test before Wednesday’s debate, just like athletes do before races,” Trump said before a cheering crowd.
“I do not know what is going on with her. During our last debate, she was so pumped up at the beginning, but at the end, it was like….huff, take me down. She could barely reach her car,” Trump said.
Clinton leading in polls
The claims come after new polls show Clinton still leads Trump though the margin varies significantly in both.
Clinton is 11 percentage points ahead of Trump, according to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll out Sunday.

Clinton has 48 per cent support compared to 37 percent for Trump.
An ABC News/Washington Post poll, meanwhile, pegs her lead at 4 points.
In a CNN/ORC poll, Clinton has a 47 percent rating while Trump has 42 percent among likely voters.
Trump over the weekend blamed the media saying that the election has already been “rigged”.
“The election is absolutely being rigged by the dishonest and distorted media pushing Crooked Hillary – but also at many polling places – sad,“ Trump says.
However, Republican vice-presidential nominee Mike Pence has said that they will absolutely accept the results of the election.
