The Beathogs are Nairobi’s hottest funk soul band. They play groovy dance funk soul grooves featuring the soulful vocals of Denise Gordon and Linda, a toe-tapping horn section, fat back drums of Andy Salmon, funky percussion hits by Obuya, bountiful bass undertones of Wim Eising, crazy keys of Jazz the Mazz and wicked guitar licks of Jaime “Benfica” Fernandes.

The Beathogs have jammed around Nairobi in such venues/events as Sawa Sawa festival, DASS and Gipsy’s Bar in Westlands, Carnivore’s Roctoberfest!, GoDown’s Battle of the Bands, Wasaanii, Brew Bistro, Kengeles and Tamambo’s Tapas Bar.
