‘The People’ Newspaper Killed! Replaced by a new Free Newspaper

Politics and current affairs newspaper, The People, has re-launched its print edition.

The move comes just months after the newspaper’s mother company, MediaMax Group got a new CEO, Ian Fernandes, from Nation Media Group.

This morning, ‘The People’ was not in circulation and in its place comes ‘People Daily’ which is basically free of charge to the public but the publishers prefer to say it’s “priceless” not because it’s free but due to the fact that news is priceless.

‘People Daily’ rebrands to green colours with more daily content and even the Friday entertainment pullout has now been made a daily affair.

With a tagline like, “Information, knowledge, Opinion, Entertainment, Sports. You get all this nowhere else”, the rebranded newspaper hopes to reach new horizons.
