The Mzungu Pilot Who Roughed Up A Police Woman Gets Back To Flying Even As The Company Declared It Had Fired Him (Photo)
Alistair Patrick Llewelyn came to the nation’s prominence when he his brutal assault towards a policewoman was caught on camera causing a national outcry.
The pilot who had then flown the Deputy President Ruto to an event in Nyandarua early this year was then arrested and charged in court. The public outrage led to the company which had hired his services to terminate his contract. The court released him on 250,000 KES cash bail and his passports also taken. However, it seems he still works with the company and he is back on air.
The pilot flew prominent lawyer Dr. Donald B Korir to Great Rift Valley Golf Lodge, Green Park, Naivasha to attend the reunion of the University of Nairobi 1991 law class. The lawyer posted a photo he took with the pilot with the same plane still seen in the background raising questions as to the sincerity of Kwae Island Development Limited (KIDL), operators of the helicopter 5Y-DSN, it said that it terminated the contract of Alistair Patrick Llewelyn of Saker Resource Management Limited to pilot the chopper.
Here is the photo the three took while at the alumni celebratation event. The plane still bears the same identification number as with the previous plane and given the close associations between DBK and Rutto it is likely he rented it from him through KIDL with the same pilot.
