It has been several years since we heard from Jogg C and the larger Zaidi ya Mziki group that combined Jogg C and Gospel Fathers.
Well the members moved on and we sadly lost Kaberere but that is not to say the story of how a couple of young men came with a different kind of sound to gospel music that changed the industry is lost.
That is especially when you think of the start they had, from sharing rooms, performing for free to becoming national stars. Well, Kaberere’s friend, and one of the founding members Lenah Ochieng’ has spoken and shared their moments.
In two series, he has outlined their beginnings including his stint at Hope FM playing the clown with a Nigerian accent, Papa Odulele then hosting Route 104 show.
