The ‘Kenya’s Newest Rugby Sensation Sends Shockwaves With His Match Winning Perforomance For His UK Club on Debut
Daniel Adongo was for sometime the odd one out in Kenya’s string of sports exports.
Yet even he did not have the impact of the newest rugby sensation in the country, Joshua Chisanga. Ever since he appeared at Menengai Cream Homeboyz RFC the rugby player has been quite an interesting feature donning the number 8 position and jersey becoming club captain and helping Kenya improve its rankings to 28 in the world.
He had a short stint at South Africa where his performances impressed and attracted attention in England. Just early this month he was called up by the Newcastle Falcons on a 2 year deal. Yesterday he got the chance to debut and came off the bench to score two match-winning tries with his club down at 12-7 to Gloucester.
His performance should see him secure a place as a starter in the near future and could well herald the birth of another nationwide superstar who is not in athletics. Joshua Chisanga was born on 2nd November 1992 . He weighs 120 kg and stands at 6’2 attributes which rightly earn him the nick name ‘The Beast’. He is teammates with the likes of international sensation and another beast Allessana Tuilagi the Samoan Winger.
