The Journey That Is Fatherhood: Octopizzo Opens Up About Fatherhood

I’m back again like I never left and I am still celebrating fathers. Why? Well, Father’s Day is right around the corner. And I think it would be a good touch for Kenyan celebrities who have embarked on the journey of fatherhood to tell us a little about what they have learnt through their journey. And today, i am fortunate enough to have managed to reach out to and get feedback from Octopizzo.

What I wanted to know is what changes have been occasioned in his life when he found out he was going to be a father -and for those of you who do not know, Octopizzo is a father of two. For a long time, he was sole guardian to his first born who was dumped at his doorstep and he decided to raise her on his own.

So what has a man who has literally grown up as he rears his daughters feel about this journey?

The first thing I learnt through this journey of fatherhood is how to be responsible. I have two beautiful daughters who look up to me and I have to deliver. They have even become my motivation. I get up for them.
The biggest problem I have however as far as fatherhood is concerned is time. I live a jetsettedr’s lifestyle and as such I can’t spend as much time as I want to with my beautiful ones but that is where I had to learn to prioritize. Also, the fact that I am in the public limelight has led to funny issues with my young ones constantly asking why I am referred to as Octopizzo.

And given how hard Octopizzo fought for the right to be called a father what with the circumstances surrounding his doiscovery that he is a father, this is what he deserves for his celebration:
