The Journey That Is Fatherhood: DJ Kaytrixx Opens Up About Fatherhood

Fatherhood, one of the most under-appreciated institutions there is. Motherhood is celebrated but fatherhood? Fatherhood is often relegated to being celebrated in secret with a poster. But I can relate why halfway; it is hard to say these three words to our fathers: “I LOVE YOU”. Why? Because fathers are the bastion of authority and it’s hard to get mushy with them.

But I refuse to let this opportunity to celebrate fatherhood pass me by. Especially because Johnnie Walker has given us the best way to show our love for anyone who has commenced their journey into fatherhood.
And so today, i would like to celebrate DJ Kaytrixx who embarked on his journey by scoring a double whammy -twins. And so I asked him to tell us about how he felt when he was informed that he would be embarking on his journey:

 

 

Fatherhood is one of the most amazing gifts that you can be given by God.

Since the day I knew I was going to be a Dad, I’ve been very excited.
I started planning immediately and got everything in order for their delivery at MP Shah.
Wifey had to have an emergency CS because one of our boys was underweight so he stayed in the incubator for a few days but thank God everybody came out of hospital fine.
They’ve been growing ever since.

 

There’s a feeling of pure love that you get from a child that is priceless.
I believe that a person determines what kind of life their kid(s) will have so for me it’s hard work all the way.
I know I will spoil them but they will deserve it because they’ve brought a lot of happiness in our lives.

A happy fathers day all the father’s out there who take care of their people and always remember, do not educate your children to be rich, educate them to be happy so that when they grow up, they’ll know the value of things and not the price.
