TBT: Back In The Day When Joy Muthengi Was A Rapper.

Joy Muthengi was quite the bad girl growing up. She has probably reformed overtime but the flicker still remains. From her high school prom night (there are generous photos on her Instagram for you viewing pleasure) to her days as a rapper. 

 The image we had of her from her debut on reality TV Tusker Project fame was of  that dress wearing, heels-all-the-time cultured girl who grew up like Samantha (in that  childhood Samatha Sequel) But she tells a different story. From  her blog to her social media accounts. 

This one below here is a throwback video of a song that she did with Lady Bee. The name of the track is “Mrembo”

There is still another jam she did with her brother Holy Dave and Alstar. The name of the jam is “I can do it”  probably the song that inspired the duo to start the Muthengi foundation to help the less fortunate.

After quitting her day job at Ebru Tv, maybe rapping is an avenue she might want to explore more.
