Tanzania’s State Of The Art Matatus Will Make Kenyan Pimped up Nganyas Look like a Bad Joke

Life has become easier for some Tanzanians after the local government and The Simon Group introduced some new buses in Dar es Salaam.

And these are not your standard matatus but some rather fancy buses called the Dar es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit (Dart) buses.

What makes these buses better than the old ones is that fare in Dar has dropped from 1400 Tshs to 800 Tshs.

As the Citizen reports, the buses will be operating for 19 hours from 5am to Midnight and they will also have a separate lane form the rest of the motor vehicles to curb traffic jams.

Check them out; I am sure you have seen some that look like this in Nairobi too:
