Tahidi High’s Teacher Kilunda Killed by the Internet

For the better part of Monday there were rumours on heavy circulation on social media alleging that Teacher Kilunda (TK Kitana) of Citizent TV’s Tahidi High is dead. However, the well-known actor is very much alive, thus putting to rest spurious reports that claimed he’s dead.

The Tahidi High actor becomes the latest victim of celebrity death hoax on micro-blogging website Twitter. He himself took to his official Facebook page to deny the death rumours saying, “I’m not dead as rumor has it…”

The rumours started on social media alleging that Kitana is dead. News of the actor’s death spread quickly earlier on the social site causing concern among fans online. However we can now confirm that it was a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports.

Some fans have expressed anger at the fake report saying it was reckless, distressing and hurtful to fans and family of the actor.

News of Kilunda’s death come hot on the heels of an earlier report that indicated that the stern Tahidi High teacher was busted by cops for drunk driving after he failed the breathlizer test and consequently arraigned in court.
