Just the other day, the actress left many shocked after she revealed that her dad was a Catholic something many people were not aware of. However, together with Miriam, Mzee Sepetu raised his girls as Muslims something they are all proud of till date.

Mama Wema, Miriam Sepetu, i said to have been arrested for fraud and was held at the Oysterbay police station for about 8 hours where she was interrogated for ‘stealing’ money from one business man, Alex Msama.
Miriam Sepetu was arrested on Saturday morning and was forced to stay in police custody as the police were gathering details from the businessman who apparently says the lady conned him Tsh 14 million. As reported by reliable Tanzanian tabloids, the lady’s case was assigned Number. OB/RB/3358/2017 and filed meaning that she will soon face the judge.

Apparently, mama Wema Sepetu had sold one of her houses located at 663 Block E, in Sinza for Tsh 125 million to the businessman Alex Msama without telling him that she had used it as a collateral since she stood in as a guarantee for a friend who had taken a lump-sum amount from TIB bank. Her main aim was to sell him the house inorder to get more cash to pay off the bank loan to avoid the house being taken. Alex Msama says he had been giving her about 14 million but before he could complete paying her off, mama Wema Sepetu went ahead and sold it to another buyer.
Now, Alex Msama wants his money refunded and mama Sepetu hasn’t denied doing it however she claims that she will only refund Tsh 8 million which is written on paper as she knows nothing about the other 6 million he is talking about.
Her lawyer who is the official advocate for the Chadema party, Tundu Lissu, got her out on bail and she is now waiting to answer her case in a few days.
This comes a few weeks after Wema Sepetu was arrested for using drugs.

Wema Sepetu must be in love with Kenya. In the past few months we have seen her jet in for events but we are yet to find out what she is up to this time around.

Mama Wema Sepetu, Miriam Sepetu, is now fearing for her life after unknown people decided to stone her house on Monday 27th night.
The lady who lives in Sinza Mori jijini Dar es Salaam says that she had things being thrown on her roof and was too scared to leave the house to call neighbors as she did not know where her enemies positioned and was afraid of getting hurt.

She went on to add that she could not sleep as she feared the people would jump in her compound and attack her. When asked why she did not call her family Miriam Sepetu revealed that her phone had no airtime making it hard to reach out to her daughters and the police to come help.
However in the morning she found a way to reach her daughter Wema Sepetu and members of Chadema party who rushed to check up on her. The Mayor of Ubungo, Boniface Jacob, who is also a close friend made his way to her house where he ensure that security had been beefed up at her place.
This comes a few days after Wema Sepetu moved to Chadema party abandoning Magufuli’s party.
After being disentangled in a grotesque quagmire with the government over drug abuse, Wema Sepetu is finally out and she’s intent on revenge.
The first thing she had done is that she has left Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM) the party associated with the ruling government of Magufuli.
And she made sure to make sure her exit was felt by demanding all the monies the party owed her; and not only her but also other Tanzanian celebrities.
And she made this announcement in style by holding a press conference where all of Tanzanian media outlets attended.

It has been a few days since Wema Sepetu reunited with her family after spending 6 nights in police custody, after being accused of drug trafficking. The Tanzanian sweetheart was however caught with nothing serious but weed that saw her get penalized as she awaits her court hearing date.

Diamond showed he was still concerned about his ex girlfriend Wema Sepetu during an interview on ‘Leo Tena’ on Clouds FM.
The ‘Marry You’ hit maker who was accompanied by his wife Zari Hassan, said he was praying for Wema Sepetu and other artists implicated in drug trafficking so that they could finish their cases without further hiccups.
“Na tunaomba wamalize matatizo yao salama” said Diamond.

Idris Sultan had also sent a message of encouragement to Wema Sepetu before she was released from custody.

The party is bound to go down this coming Saturday at State house, Diamond’s official residence.

There is being a celebrity, and then there is being Wema Sepetu. The former Miss Tanzania is truly an idol to behold and basically everyone wants to be associated with her.
For an upcoming artist, all you have to do is mention her in a song and you can be rest assured it will be a hit. And if you are looking to being an instant hit and get wide range circulation across the interwebs, then make it on her social media pages and without a doubt you will be the biggest thing on the internet.
Ask Calisah, who was Wema’s toy boy for a maximum two seconds and he became the most talked about person in East Africa shortly after their steamy tape leaked.
As it was evident with that tape, Wema Sepetu’s love life has been one marred by controversy from here to Turkana. It started off with Idris and their baby drama, beef with Zari over Diamond- for like the hundredth time and then Calisah who summed it all up.
Actually in the midst of it all, she came to Kenya to host Powerball Thursday at XSS Millionaires and she mentioned that she was considering moving to Kenya.
Now we think her plan might be falling into place as she might have found her comfort and solace when she makes her down here and it’s in the arms of Jamal Gaddafi, TV host, fashionista and definitely Number 1 MC.

Wema Sepetu and Calisah made headlines a few months ago after their intimate photos and videos were leaked online by an ‘unknown’ person. Their love affair however did not end well as they no longer see eye to eye.

Rumor has it that Wema Sepetu stopped talking to Calisah as she believes he was responsible for leaking their footage online. Anyway, in a recent interview with Bongo 5 Calisah revealed that he had nothing to do with the photos and he still thinks Wema Sepetu is the sweetest woman he has ever come across.
According to him, the actress showed him true love and care that most ladies don’t have. Even with the many scandals following her, Calisah feels that Wema Sepetu is not different from most ladies living a private life.
Wema is a good girl. She has unconditional love, she is understanding and she has what many call true love. I don’t think Wema Sepetu is any different from the ladies, she however has a special way of making her men feel loved and cared for. He said.
Calisah went on to add that dating Wema Sepetu was a blessing to his career which has since been raising. Though he might have lost some good deals after his scandal with the Tanzanian sweetheart the model feels that she was worth the trouble.
