President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta have once again found themselves living alone as their children moved out of the family home.
In an interview with Citizen TV’s Lulu Hassan and Kanze Dena, president Uhuru disclosed that his children had moved out of the family house.
Uhuru told Lulu and Kanze Dena that he spends most of his evenings with the First Lady since their children were living on their own after moving out of the family home.
The head of state has three children namely; Jomo Kenyatta, Jaba Kenyatta and Ngina Kenyatta. His eldest son Jaba married Achola Ngobi in a traditional wedding ceremony that was the talk of the nation sometimes last year.
Jaba and Ngina have also become adults, the two are also forging ahead with life on their own without remaining in their parent’s house.
Its official, Uhuru Kenyatta is the most popular president in Sub-Saharan Africa.
This can be established through an audit report which has been carried amongst various presidents’ Facebook pages where Uhuru’s had the most followers.
With 2.95 million fans on Facebook he is followed by Nana Akufo-Addo – the new Ghana President, and Rwanda’s Paul Kagame, with 1.34 million and 700,000 followers respectively.
The Facebook page of the government of Ethiopia however is the most prolific page, with an average of 29 posts per day in 2016 followed by the government of Botswana with 28 posts per day.
The study by PR firm Burson-Marsteller identified Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the most followed world leader on Facebook with 40 million followers followed by Donald Trump with 20 million followers.
Modi also had the most interactions (likes, comments, and shares) of any world leader on Facebook in 2016 with 169 million interactions.
His activity far outpaces the second-placed world leader, Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen, who had 58 million interactions.
Sometimes in June 2016, State House decided to suspend the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU) directors following a series of blunders.
Dennis Itumbi, who is the director of Digital Communication and Diaspora Affairs, was among those who were fired even though later it emerged that he survived the axe.
Uhuru’s social media handlers are responsible for the president’s communication on social networking platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The president’s social media pages were yesterday flooded with posts of what the head of state had achieved for the four years that he has been in power.
Uhuru social media handlers made a terrible mistake with one of the posts which was about Kenyan soldiers in the neighboring war-torn Somalia.
Uhuru’s social media handlers posted the photo on social media without knowing the soldiers in the photos were from Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) – Uganda’s flag on the soldiers’ uniform confirmed this.
The president’s social media handlers pulled down the photo after people started blasting them. If you ask me, they did a good thing ‘stealing’ from Uganda, Museveni has also stolen from Kenya – I mean Migingo Island.
Former radio queen Caroline Mutoko has offered interesting insight into President Uhuru Kenyatta’s recent tirade of verbal abuse.
Caroline discussed several things about the head of state while addressing her fans via her YouTube channel. She said the president wasn’t getting enough sleep.
“Maaan! I hope that man (Uhuru Kenyatta) gets some sleep and water…coz sometimes I watch him am like “you are not sleeping and you are not hydrated”…and this is scary but he is in his element and you can tell from the way the crowds are responding to him,” Caroline said.
She explained that Uhuru’s verbal diarrhea and anger outbursts had to do with genetics. The president recently lashed out at Mombasa and Turkana governors.
“And also some of the things he says…you notice that some of the things he’s saying are not coming out of here (points the gut) not here (points the brain)… si hapa (points the brain)… FROM THE GUT! And you know if you are younger Kenyan, that means you are probably somewhere between… I don’t know… 25-35, and you are listening to some of the stuff he say and you are shocked…. You never heard the guy’s dad. Trust me, it’s genetic,” Caroline Mutoko explained Uhuru’s recent behavior.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and Millie Odhiambo’s beef started last year on 20th December after the latter insulted Baba Ngina as opposition legislators tried to stop attempts by Jubilee MPs to make amendments to the election law.
Speaking at KICC ground a day after Mbita MP hurled a barrage of insults to him, Uhuru fired back and called Millie an idiot.
First Lady Margaret Kenyatta quickly stepped forth to defuse the tension between her husband and Millie Odhiambo. Margaret sent Millie a Christmas card.
The three months of ceasefire between president Uhuru and Millie Odhiambo was broken yesterday March 15th when the head of state spoke to a joint session of Parliament in his State of the Nation address.
Millie didn’t go to parliament. And when Larry Madowo asked her why, her answer was hilarious;
“We gave the president standing ovation on his purported role in corruption, nothing came out of it. The next thing he did after we gave him a standing ovation “sasa munataka nifanye nini” surely! He speaks from both sides of the mouth…he tells us we want national unity, “let people like the people who are crazy like Millie Odhiambo be abusive”…you join the bandwagon of Millie Odhiambo abusing Kenyans… And you go and tell us about national unity? Honestly!… I had something better to do which was probably redo my hair…” Millieo Odhiambo told Larry Madowo.
President Uhuru Kenyatta once again clashed with defiant Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho during his recent trip to the coast.
Joho was yesterday March 13th blocked by General Service Unit (GSU) at Nyali bridge as he was going to Mtongwe. He was instead escorted to his office where he remained under the watchful eyes of the police.
Speaking during the re-launch of Mtongwe ferry services, President Kenyatta vowed to teach Joho a lesson, he accused the Mombasa governor of pestering him and interfering with his work.
The president’s verbal diarrhea and anger outburst in Mombasa comes only a few days after he lashed out at Turkana governor Josphat Nanok.
Some people hinted that Uhuru’s recent behavior is attributed to several things such as doctors’ and lecturers’ strike and pressure from the opposition and upcoming general election.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto visited Turkana County on Wednesday March 8th 2017.
The head of state faced off with Turkana governor Josphat Nanok who accused him of salivating after the recently discovered oil in Turkana.
Nanok also claimed that Uhuru’s government hadn’t allocated enough money to Turkana County government.
Uhuru caught hormones for days and he fired back at Nanok in fury, he called him an idiot and a devil as he said he wouldn’t be cowed by his allegations.
“Mtu akisimama hapa aseme ati Uhuru ako na haja na mafuta ya wengine… Ashindwe, shetani mshenzi! Watu wasiwe watu ambao watakuja kudanganya wakenya. Mimi sio ni mimi napitisha sheria, ni bunge. Mimi ni kuweka naweka kidole! Alafu mjinga anakuja kusema hapa ati mimi nafanya mambo ya…” Uhuru lashed out.
He told residents the world wouldn’t come to an end whether they vote for him or not. The president also affirmed that Nanok wouldn’t scare him.
“Kwa kufikiria mimi ni mtu wa kutishwa watafute mwingine, ehhh… Kura ni kura na tutakuja kuomba kama wengine. Mutupatie mukose kutupatia ahhh… Kwani munafikiria dunia itaisha? Wacha story mingi bwana, dunia itaendelea. Ama namna gani, si ni hivyo? Na ndipo twasema kwa viongozi tuheshimiane jameni!”
Watch the video below to see how the drama unfolded:
President Uhuru Kenyatta and Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho are some of the senior politicians who Kenyans have cast doubt on their degrees.
A simple online search for President Uhuru’s name on Amherst College website was the genesis of doubts on his college degree.
Uhuru’s critics failed to find his name among students who attended the prestigious private liberal arts college in Massachusetts, USA resulting to claims that the president had a fake degree from the American institution.
Forget the claims his detractors, President Uhuru indeed attended Amherst College from 1981 to 1985 and graduated with a degree in political science and economics.
A Luo historian, Odhiambo Levin Opiyo, took to Facebook to post photos of the college’s official yearbook which highlights key academic and sporting accomplishments during the academic year and also contains the roll of students who graduated in the respective year.
“Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta” was among the names of students on Amherst College’s yearbook, the president degree is genuine.
It’s now clear most Kenyans are sick tired of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s stunts, the public backlash said it all.
About a week ago, President Uhuru wowed the nation when he was seen in a video with ‘Thitima’ duo urging Kenyans who are eligible to vote to register as voters ahead of August 8th general election.
The head of state once again tried a new stunt but this time round it backfired terribly; Uhuru met a host of Kenya’s youth entertainers at Statehouse on Wednesday as he carries on with his campaign to mobile Kenyan to register as voters.
Radio Jambo’s Mbusii and FBI dance crew were some of the entertainers who were invited at State House.
Photos of president Uhuru dubbing and fist bumping with the celebrities invited at State House caused uproar as Kenyans asked whether his priority was to look cool when doctors were still on strike and other Kenyans facing starvation.
Before the dossier that was released yesterday by one Anwar Saddat, little was known about Buruji Kashamu the Nigerian Kingpin currently on the US wanted list of drug traffickers.
The dossier claimed that Buruji Kashamu is friends with President Kenyatta and they occasionally conduct “business” together where he uses the president’s plane to distribute drugs across the globe. This came in the wake of the government’s directive in fighting drug abuse in the country.
Well first of all, he’s a Senator(why I’m I not even surprised) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from Ogun State. He represents Ogun East in the current 8th National Assembly. Senator Kashamu is the Vice-Chairman of the Senate Committee on States and Local Government.
Secondly, his filthy rich being the Chairman/Chief Executive of Kasmal Group of Companies, an indigenous conglomerate with interests in hospitality, property, oil and gas, automobile and investment services. He is also the Chairman of the Group Kasmal SAL in Republic of Benin. They mostly deal with cotton harvesting where he manages 76% of that business.
With all this money in his hands, he also likes the finer things in life being the proud owner of over 10 high end cars including a Rolls Royce which he purchased recently, Bentley’s and other German High End SUV’s. He’s also very much into high end hookers with the dossier released recently stating he once hired one for Uhuru, Thandi Ojeer.
His history with drug trafficking started way back in 1994, defendant Kary Hayes, a passenger arriving at O’Hare International Airport (“O’Hare”) on a flight from Zurich, Switzerland, was arrested after he tried to smuggle into the United States a suitcase containing approximately 14.16 pounds of heroin. Hayes was one of a long line of couriers in a heroin smuggling operation led by Kashamu. Kashamu arranged: (a) the pickup of the heroin by the couriers in Europe and Indonesia; (b) the transfer of the heroin to others once the heroin entered the United States; (c) the payment of the couriers and the people who supervised them; and (d) the carrying by couriers of large sums of cash during the couriers’ outbound trips from the United States for delivery to him in Europe and elsewhere. The government charged Hayes and other couriers after this initial arrest. Many of these couriers cooperated and provided information about their contacts with Kashamu.
The man is not all that rogue having floated the Omoilu Foundation in 2009, a non-profit organization he set up to empower the needy and give hope to the hopeless. Little wonder when a friend asked him why he gives without hesitation, he says “the only thing I do not want to do is to disappoint my God. Let me also confess that the more I empower people, the more God empowers me.”
President Uhuru Kenyatta left Nairobi for Dubai on April 22nd 2015 where he was scheduled to take an Emirates commercial flight to the United States to attend the Milken Institute Global Conference, which took place from April 26th to 30th in Los Angeles, California.
The president never reached Dubai as his plane was forced to turn around mid-air. Daily Nation reported that the trip was cancelled at the last minute following what state House referred to as “increased military activity in Yemen.”
Uhuru’s plane had been scheduled to fly over the Yemeni airspace en-route to Dubai. At that time, Saudi Arabian Air Force was carrying out extensive airstrikes on terrorists hideouts in Yemen.
Everyone believed Uhuru’s plane was turned mid-air because of increased military activity in Yemen until February 6th 2017 at 5:55pm, when a certain Anwar Saddat came with a different version of the story.
Saddat claim Uhuru’s plane was turned around because it was transporting cocaine and a Nigerian drug lord-cum-senator, Buruji Kashamu.
Saddat claims US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) who are tasked with combating drug smuggling in US and abroad, had stationed its field agents in Dubai after getting wind of what the presidential jet was transporting.
Apparently DEA officials were informed that Buruji Kashamu was traveling to LA with the Kenyan president using diplomatic passport; they were in Dubai to confirm this claim.
Buruji Kashamu faces drug charges in the US, Chicago prosecutors accuse the Nigerian senator of heading a heroin trafficking ring in the 1990s.
Saddat claims Kenyan agents attached to DEA got wind of the plans and called State House who then relayed the information to Uhuru and his team forcing the plane to re-route back for fear of public humiliation of being caught transporting cocaine and a drug lord.
Below is the sensational post by Anwar Saddat:
The Day Uhuru was almost caught transporting Cocaine and Drug Lord Buruji Kashamu.
On November 22, 2014 as Kenyans were killed by Alshaabab in North Eastern Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta was in Abu Dhabi watching the Grand Prix, a trip fully paid for by Buruji Kashamu. To complement the trip, Buruji hired an international escort, Thandi Ojeer, to keep Uhuru company.
Buruji was returning a hand after Uhuru successfully retrieved high dollar “goods” from London on May 7, 2013 and successfully delivered the goods to South Africa on May 11, 2013. You can find out the nature of Buruji’s business.
DEA investigations showed that the high grade dollar goods were transported using the Kenyans President Official Plane, Kenya 1.
Hoping to use Diplomatic Immunity, Uhuru and Buruji planed another pick up and delivery. This time, the delivery destination was LA. Buruji was given a Kenyan diplomatic passport and was scheduled to travel with kenya 1 to LA. On April 22, 2015, Kenya 1 departed for a week long tour of USA. Unknown to the Kenyan intelligence, DEA officials were informed that Buruji Kashamu was traveling to LA with the Kenyan president using diplomatic passport.
DEA ,then contacted their field agents stationed in Dubai to confirm the identities of those traveling with Uhuru to the USA and be on standby to confiscate their luggage once they boarded the American bound flight, since given probable cause, the Diplomatic Immunity would be waived once Uhurus team were in a USA bound vessel.
Kenyan agents attached to DEA, who got wind of the plans called Statehouse who relayed the information to Uhuru and his team on Kenya 1. Uhuru cancelled his trip to LA midair. Afraid of public humiliation of being caught transporting cocaine and a drug lord, Uhuru turned back and fearing that JKIA may have been infiltrated by American media, Uhuru was forced to drop his friend, Buruji Kashamu to Nigeria before coming back to Kenya, where he was let off on the eastern part of JKIA at around 4.20 am in the morning.
Uhuru’s family bank, CBA is still undergoing investigations of money laundering in association to drug trafficking and trade in contraband goods.
So, when Uhuru purports to be fighting drugs, he is simply using state power to clear “competitors”. Uhuru has been the subject of an ongoing drug trafficking investigations using the official government jet.
He made a lot of deliveries to Amsterdam during the ICC. Those days, Sonko was a wash with cash after selling Uhuru’s drugs. Kabogo was bragging how much money they can give in courts, etc. Wonder why all those “international” trips reduced?? Big brother is watching. The only place he can now go to is Mombasa!!
Hullabaloo has been rife for the better part of the week in regards to the 2.5 million watch Uhuru was spotted rocking at Sagana State lodge in his tour of Central Kenya.
He is currently on a tour of the region in attempts to persuade the electorate there to register as voters as he makes his bid to go for a second term as the head of State.
What Kenyans need to know is that beside that Arnold and Son HM Perpetual Moon model, Uhuru has a lot of other top of the range watches in his collection making him Kenya’s Number 1 watch connoisseur.
In total they all cost a whooping 15 million, money which can definitely build a 4 bedroom massionette in Kitengela.
Come with his and let’s take a walk into his collection:
First stop is his Patek Phillipe Nautilus series – valued at $26,000 which roughly around 2.6 million Kenyan shillings. This equals to a 2010 Mercedez C200.
He also has another 2.5 million watch in his collection, the Parmigiani Pershing series.
Now you don’t expect a man of such opulence and sophistication to lack a Rolex as well now do you? He’s also the proud owner of a Rolex Submariner which is valued at 1.5 million shillings.
He also has another Rolex, the Oyster Perpetual Datejust Gold which roughly goes for 1.4 million.
The most expensive in his collection is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak which costs a whooping
Public provocateur, Raila’s number 1 enemy, Jubilee fanatic and many more are some of the names that befit Moses Kuria.
He never skips an opportunity to make headlines and every time he opens his mouth, be rest assured national healing and reconciliation commission to go knocking on his door.
A trusted loyalist to the Uhuru administration, he’s loved and loathed in equal measure depending on which part of Kenya you come from.
What I can guarantee however is that the Gatundu people are a happy lot where he’s the Member of Parliament as he plans to award them with cash just for taking part in the up-taking of voters cards.
He is fully aware of the current draught and the burning sun which is deterring people from going to take up voters cards and in that regard he’s rewarding Ksh 50 dehydration allowance to anyone who endures the sun to go take up a voters card.
He’s also rewarding any boda boda guy Ksh 50 for taking their time to take someone to a polling station to register as a voter.
I already see the smug on Team Mafisi members who opened this article thinking I was talking about the other dry spell; poleni sana.
The head of state has a thing for ultra expensive wrist watches; the next time he surfaces in public, take a keen look at his left hand- it has more value than five secondhand Toyota Proboxes.
President Uhuru Kenyatta caused a stir when he was spotted with a gold wrist watch as he addressed the media from Sagana State Lodge.
The gold watch that was strapped on Uhuru’s left arm turned out to be an exclusive brand-Arnold & Son HM Perpetual Moon.
The price tag on that 18-carat gold watch the commander in chief had is $25,442 or Kes 2.6 million.
Mark you Uhuru has other exclusive brands of wrist watches.
Uhuru has a lot of work cut out for him because after Joe Kadenge, yet another legendary footballer wants to be visited.
Former goal keeper Mahmoud Mohammed is ailing from a heart disease and urgently requires treatment which he feels like Uhuru should cater for.
The ex-Kenya international goalie who played during Joe Kadenge’s time is asking for Uhuru’s help in catering for the health bill to India to undergo specialized treatment.
“I played for the national team with Kadenge and others but remain suffering heart disease for the past two years and I tried to seek help from various leaders in vain. Having served for the national team several years in the past, I hope President Kenyatta will recognize that and help me get treatment for the disease I’m suffering,” Mahmoud told the Nation.
Joe kadenge made the headlines a few weeks ago when he requested Uhuru Kenyatta to visit him as part of his last dying wish.
Uhuru obliged and in return awarded him 2 million to take manage his deteriorating health. Will he heed to Mahmoud’s call? We will just have to wait and see.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has embarked on a nationwide tour to mobilise Kenyans who are eligible to vote to register as voters ahead of August 8th general election.
And just to make sure his message had a bigger impact on the Kenyan youth, the head of state enlisted the help of Thitima duo, Kymo and Stigah.
The trio; Uhuru, Kymo and Stigah, posted a video urging eligible Kenyans to register as voters. In the video, Uhuru is seen telling unregistered Kenyans that they will be struck by electricity (thitima) if they fail to register as voters.
The clip has since gone viral on social media, watch it below:
President Uhuru’s bodyguard exchanged vows with the lover of his life in a colorful wedding held over the past weekend.
Edward Legei, an officer attached to Uhuru Kenyatta’s security detail, married his fiancé in a traditional Maasai wedding held in Timau, Laikipia County on January 14th.
Mr. Legei serves in the elite GSU presidential guard company whose officers are solely charged with the duties of protecting the president.
He is said to be one of the best sharpshooters in the force having won several accolades in national shooting games.
Legei and the apple of his eye, Rose Lenkupae, both donned traditional Maasai regalia on their wedding day.
President Uhuru however didn’t attend his bodyguard’s wedding.
The police are now equipped with armored personnel carriers. President Uhuru unveiled the third batch of police vehicles at Uhuru Park today January 16th.
The government is keen to bolster security ahead of 2017 polls and as such the police have been equipped with the necessary arsenal to deal with any eventuality.
President Uhuru has today unveiled 525 vehicles as part of the government’s police modernization programme.
Of the 525 vehicles, 25 were armored personnel carriers which had deadly machine guns mounted on them.
While many were wondering why the police are being armed with military grade vehicles, Uhuru explained that the move was aimed at improving police mobility in their fight against terrorism.
It’s now official; Dr. Ofweneke is the king of comedy going by what transpired today.
As you are all pretty aware, today was a great day for the ruling party Jubilee as it embarked on the process of issuing digital membership cards to all its members.
Amidst all the political fanfare which was threatening to blow up the roof, Dr. Ofweneke which was the MC alongside David the Student took the opportunity to cool off things by doing something that will definitely make Bahati slightly jealous.
He held the top spot for the better part of last year for making the president go gaga but Dr.Ofweneke was determined to take over when he attempted to teach Uhuru do the Shoki.
And Shoki he did much to the jeering of the crowd granting Ofweneke his 5 minutes of fame.
Gatundu District Hospital ultra modern block looks like a world class hospital in California. The construction of the block was reportedly sponsored by President Uhuru.
President Uhuru Kenyatta commission the modern block at Gatundu District Hospital sometimes in April 2016.
The new block makes Thika Level 5 hospital look like a terrible joke even though both hospitals are owned by the government and are in the same county of Kiambu.
Photos of Gatundu hospital sparked outrage from a section of Kenyans who claimed the government had ignored other district hospitals across the country which are in dire need of renovation.
Shortly after Hassan Joho’s certificate leaked online, yet another certificate is doing rounds, and it belongs to none other but Uhuru Kenyatta.
Let’s play a game, guess what he scored? A, C, B; a D-, yes D for dog.
The certificate alleges that Uhuru sat for his KCSE in 1976 and did 9 subjects. His best performed subjects were Mathematics and Biology where he scored in a plain C in both of them.
Now this is laughable as the first KCSE was done in 1989 and it replaced Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) but being an election year, all manner of propaganda is expected to circulate. Plus also considering his age, the president was probably getting married at the time and not sitting for some exam.
Joho’s certificate which he hasn’t come to deny puts his whole education background in disarray as it dictates he faked his diploma to get admission into Kampala International University and further into Gretsa University where he majored in Commerce and accounting.
Here is his certificate which has been rounds for the better part of the week:
President Uhuru has done what his three predecessors failed to do during their time as commander in chief. But meeting Joe Kadenge was nothing compared to what he did for the sickly football legend.
Government officials from the Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts last week confirmed the president would meet Joe Kadenge.
While the planned meeting was scheduled for January 12th, the president went on to meet Kadenge on Sunday after he returned to the capital from Mombasa.
The wisest thing the president did that earned him accolades was to visit Joe Kadenge at his South B Mariakani home rather than to have the sickly legend travel to State House to see him.
Uhuru was accompanied by the First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, Sports CS Hassan Wario, Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko among other top government officials.
The President personally gave Kadenge an NHIF card so that his family and him could access medical care at no cost.
Uhuru also gave Kadenge a whopping Kes 2 million to top up the fundraising effort towards his plight that started following his hospitalization on Boxing Day, three days after collapsing during a family outing.
Another important thing the head of state did was to order immediate operationalization of Heroes Council to deal with matters affecting legends of the past who have served the country with distinction.
The President revealed Kes 300 million will be allocated by Treasury as per the law established to cater for the nation’s heroes.
In return, Joe Kadenge handed the president a branded No.7 football Jersey, an autographed ball and a copy of his autobiography.
Joe Kadenge’s dying wish was to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta and his two predecessors, Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi and Mwai Kibaki. So far only the incumbent has heed to Kadenge’s plea.
A few days ago, football legend Joe Kadenge made a wish to meet former presidents before he dies. He had been admitted to the hospital after he fell sick.
Kenyans amplified Kadenge’s call to meet the president and finally word got to top government officials who are now laying plans to have the head of state meet the sickly football legend.
Government officials from the Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts confirmed the football icon will meet the president on Thursday evening next week.
Sports Permanent Secretary, Joe Okudo, revealed the visit was an instruction from the President who wished to see Kadenge after he made a plea to meet him.
No word has been heard from Kibaki and Moi’s side concerning Kadenge’s wish to meet them. The two former presidents usually communicate through their representatives.
Uhuru beat Joho 3-0; the Mombasa governor started the war but the President showed him he knew how to throw knockout punch.
You are probably aware of what transpired yesterday in Mombasa; for those that don’t, President Uhuru Kenyatta and Hassan Joho traded barbs in public again.
Joho started the war of words accusing Uhuru of taking credit for development projects he did not initiate.
Speaking during the launch of Buxton footbridge, the Mombasa governor made it clear that the structure wasn’t a product of the Jubilee government.
Joho revealed the project was planned in 2010 and was financed by the World Bank; he said Jubilee government was thriving in hijacking projects rather than initiating their own.
The last person to speak in a public address usually has the upper hand in most scenarios, so was president Uhuru.
The commander in chief hit Joho below the belt saying the Mombasa governor was making empty promises while his government has initiating projects that helped citizens right away.
“Tunahakikisha ya kwamba tuko na nchi ambayo kila Mkenya mahali kokote aliko anajivunia na anafurahia. Tunaelewana wenzangu? Na hio ya tuko ngojea Joho tukimaliza atakuletea hio alikuagizia. Yangu itakua ya manufaa kwako na watoto wako.”

In your opinion, between Uhuru and Joho who do you think spoke sense?
Kenyan football legend Joe Kandenge has made a dying wish to President Uhuru Kenyatta as he lies on bed waiting go to meet his maker anytime.
The sickly footballer was rushed to Meridien Hospital on December 26th after his condition worsened. Kadenge suffers from complications related to diabetes.
Of late, the 81 year old legend has been admitted to a number of city hospitals as his condition deteriorates frequently.
Kadenge made a wish to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta before he dies;
“There are people in the government that I would like to meet. Firstly the president of Kenya; I would also like to meet former presidents. It seems my body doesn’t like me for now. I would like to say goodbye to them (the president and former presidents),” Joe Kadenge spoke in a video uploaded by the Nairobian.
Raila Odinga is the only senior political figure whom Joe Kadenge has met; the sickly footballer met the former PM during the launch of his autobiography book.
Babu Owino has been at the helm of Students Organisation of Nairobi University – SONU since 2011. But now President Uhuru Kenyatta has made sure the career student wouldn’t seek another term in office.
Paul Ongili Owino aka Babu Owina was first elected the chairman of the students union Nairobi University in the academic year 2011/12.
Babu has been contesting for UoN top seat for the last five years (University elections are held annually). He was nicknamed “career student” due to his decision to vie for SONU chair annually.
Babu’s fight with Mike Jacobs, who accused him of rigging 2016 election, saw parliament pass a law that introduced term limit to students seeking positions within universities’ student council.
Jacobs and Babu’s fight sparked chaos at various UoN campuses; Kenya’s most prestigious public university had be closed to curb the spread of violence.
President Uhuru recently assented the Universities (Amendment) Act 2016 which states that a university student leader will hold office for a one-year term and be eligible for re-election once.
The acts blocks the likes of Babu Owino from seeking office again; but all in all the career student won’t be affected per se because he was to step down to run for Embakasi East parliamentary seat on an ODM ticket.
“Uhuru should start packing for his journey back to Gatundu as he is a fake President, as his own backyard is poor,””We have come here prepared for death and we are going to Canaan not back to Egypt.”Those are the words Millie Odhiambo uttered in parliament two weeks ago that she might soon regret.
The High Court has directed Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo to present herself before the OCS Parliament police station to record a statement in a case where she is seeking anticipatory bond for her remarks in parliament over the presidency.
This directive was made by Justice Wakianga after the the DPP said he was not ready to proceed with the matter. This was before he disqualified himself from the case citing vested interests since he comes from the same area as Millie Odhiambo.
The Mbita MP became the talk of the town after she was caught on camera hurling all manner of insults at the president much to the awe of the public which differed equally on the legitimacy of them matter.
The second hearing on the matter by the duty judge is scheduled for 10th January 2017.
President Uhuru Kenyatta’s approval rating has SERIOUSLY plummeted, if the result of the latest opinion poll is anything to go by.
Opinion poll conducted by renowned lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi to determine the popularity of Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta has send chills down the spine of Jubilee supporters.
Grand Mullah conducted the poll on Twitter between December 26 and 27th; a total of 7012 respondents participated in the poll.
The results put Raila ahead at 60% while the president’s approval rating was at 40%. Most people cited runaway corruption and the government’s inability to resolve doctors’ strike as the reason why they preferred Raila over Uhuru.
Jubilee supporters were however adamant that the poll didn’t reflect the opinion of most Kenyans; they argued that the opinions of 7000 Kenyans who participated in poll couldn’t be a representative sample of the entire population.
And yesterday, Wednesday December 21st, it was Margaret Kenyatta’s turn to respond to Millie Odhiambo.
The First Lady however didn’t respond with insults but rather wished the Mbita MP well ahead of Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Mrs. Kenyatta sent Millie Odhiambo a Christmas card with a message of peace and reconciliation;
“Christmas is here again – a time to remember and apply our shared values of compassion, sharing and communism. We share this holiday with all people of all persuasions because what we celebrate are cherished universal human impulses.Often, what we see as our differences are only expressions of problems that can be resolved through a commitment to good will, love, peace and unity. Let the holidays bring us closer to each other so that we can lighten our burdens and brighten our journey. To you, your family and everyone you love, Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year,” reads the message on the Christmas card to Hon. Millie Odhiambo.
The card was signed by both the president and his wife; it also had their pictures on it.
A police officer at Kenya Police Training College in Kiganjo has confirmed that assassination is in the pipeline for ODM MPs Millie Odhiambo and Junet Mohamed.
The threat from Kipchirchir Alfie has reignited the theory about the existence of a killer police squad that silences anti-government propagandists.
Kipchirchir Alfie posted a photo on his Facebook account which showed 34 bullets; the caption said that three bullets were meant for Suna East MP Junet Mohamed and the rest were for Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo.
“Tatu ni za Junet, the rest are for Millie Mabona,” Kipchirchir Alfie captioned the photo.
His threat is perceived to be a direct response to Millie Odhiambo’s bashing of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kipchirchir’s profile shows that he is a Police Field Commander at Kenya Police Training College in Kiganjo.

The head of state has responded to Mbita MP after she hurled a barrage of insults to him during parliament proceeding on Tuesday December 20th.
Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo caused a storm after she stripped President Uhuru in parliament as opposition legislators tried to stop attempts by Jubilee MPs to make amendments to the election law.
Speaking on Tuesday evening while presiding over the historic lighting of KICC to usher in the Christmas festivities, President Uhuru responded to Millie Odhiambo; he indirectly called her an idiot.
“To my left is the National Assembly representing our democracy, and the ability of some idiots in there to continue insulting me, but that is their freedom…,” Uhuru spoke as he addressed Kenyans from the KICC ground.
Temperatures have been a notch high for the better part of the day at Parliament building following what was supposed to be discussions on the election bill.
The opposition side of parliament however was not of the idea and thus putting up a spirited fight which included barring the National Assembly Speaker, Justin Muturi from attending the special sitting.
In the heart of this all was Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo who also saw this is as a grand opportunity to insult the head of State in a spirited fashion much to the awe of the Fourth Estate.
In what can be attested as the highest form of verbal diarrhea ever witnessed in the country, Millie lashes out at uhuru with all manner of insults that would surely make even the devil a tad uncomfortable.
She refers to him as stupid, low class, mshenzi and most notable a fisi.
Here, experience the video first hand as it was reported first by NTV:
A country free for all, peaceful and with equal opportunities; that’s the narrative Uhuru Kenyatta always tends to advance whenever he attends public rallies and which he uses to diss his opponents. Question is? Does he subscribe to the same?
Two pictures recently surfaced online of two school parties whom had visited State House and whom Uhuru took pictures with; in his usual Uhuru style.
One of the parties seemed to have been from the countryside and one thing which was clearly notable was the lack of chairs for the kids. Which is pretty much okay, they are young and energetic so they really don’t need to sit anyway.
That was up until this photo which seemed to have kids from an uptown school which also had Caucasian kids. Now on this one, chairs were pretty much in plenty which spelled some discrimination something I’m pretty sure Kenyans will not like very much.
