Betty Kyalo and her family celebrate their late grandmother who passed on at 101 years

When a parent passes on at 100 years, we call this a blessing and not a loss as very few people get to live or beyond the age of 100 years.

Betty Kyalo’s family this past weekend gathered to celebrate their late grandmother, Cucu Beatrice Mutei, who passed on at the age of 101 years as revealed.

Through their eldest brother’s,Brian Msafiri, instagram account we have learnt that the family traveled to their rural home to give their grandmother the final send off as they celebrated her 101 years. He wrote to say,

18-3-2017 … Laid to rest the great matriarch of the Kang’ulyu family. Our granny, Cucu Beatrice Mutei ‘Kinanda’, was 101 years. This was a true celebration of life … An event we as family cherished. On my right is my Pops, Major Kyallo.

Brian Msafiri also got to introduce his father who we rarely see on their social media pages. He definitely looks like his son and now we know where Betty Kyalo got her amazing smile.

There is a new video making rounds on social media and from the comments most people seem not to believe their eyes as two girls get on top of the coffin to twerk and grind.

The video which might have been shot in Venezuela or Colombia shows how they were celebrating their loved one and since he apparently liked reggaeton music, he had to be given a proper send off.

The ladies, one in a white skirts twerks on the coffin without caring that her panty was being seen. The one in pants continues to shake before they pour water on her as a way of showing their appreciation for the ~~lap~~ dance

Anyway, not everyone seemed suprise as some people commented to say that they would want the same send off.

Avril opens up about her relationship with a reknown Kenyan footballer

There has been many rumors about Avril Nyambura’s relationships in the past few months.

She was said to be involved with footballer Dennis Oliech among others, however, the singer who is known for popular songs such as, kitu kimoja, Hakuna yule, Hello baby which she did with Tanzanian singer Ommy Dimpoz among other songs recently came out to speak about this.

Though many still believe that the two were romantically involved after being spotted hanging out a number of times, Avril now says that she has known the footballer for more than 6 years and Oliech was in her life before she met her ex fiance, Leslie Mugadza.

Speaking to SDE Avril said,

“I am not dating Dennis. He is one of my best friends from way back. We’ve been friends for over six years now. I knew him before I met my ex and we are always hanging out together,”

She went on to add that she has heard and seen blogs write that she was pregnant (this is after she posted a photo flaunting her baby bump) but these were all lies. Avril says the photo was taken from a movie set she was feared on and for her role she had to potray a pregnant woman.

“I have also heard the rumours about the pregnancy but they are baseless. Do I look pregnant…Do I? There is fascination Kenyans have of me being pregnant. I don’t understand why. The rumours were fueled by a photo I posted on my social media pages towards the end of last year, where I was looking heavily pregnant. Fortunately or unfortunately, I am not pregnant. It was a prank. Actually, the photo was taken from a movie set I’ve been featured on and in the roles I was playing I had to portray a pregnant lady.”

Anyway, there you have it! Avril is not seeing anyone at the moment and is focused on her career and investments before she thinks of settling down.

The grey dress made sure to show off her lean curves as she stepped out for the launch of ‘Strange Women’ by Nene Ndioma a few weeks ago.

Willy Paul has had it rough with people saying he abuses drugs on the low. The singer has been said to be involved with alcohol and now one of Noti Flows close friends or rather work mates has come out to say that he used to smoke up with Willy at G town in Nakuru.

Even though he did not land a collabo with Rayvanny, Willy Paul’s hustle is proving to be unstoppable. Right now he is in Tanzania where he is set to perform but as he waits for the D day, the gospel singer decided to pass by at Diamond Platnumz where he spent his afternoon today.

Thanks to his social media, we got a photo of the singer bumming at Dee’s office and was also seen hanging out with the manager. From his caption, Willy Paul is currently i Tanzania to promote his new song featuring Alaine.

Jeff Koinange has spoken to Ghafla about the rumour claiming that he is the sole reason why Janet Mbugua and some other journalists at citizen TV are calling it quits.

Judging from what was going round social media, apparently the fella was getting about 2 million Kenyan shillings yet he his show airs only once a week.

This was said to be the reason the others were willing to walk out however speaking to Ghafla this afternoon we have learnt that no one is leaving the station.

Jeff Koinange says that they are one happy family and the stories going round are nothing but propaganda.

Pastor Kanyari is tired of having fans lash at him whenever he posts something new. For this reason he is now threatening to block anyone leaving negative comments on his photos.

The pastor who has had his share of scandals in the past few years posted a photo hanging out with apostle James Ng’ang’a making wonder what they were cooking.

Daniel Ndambuki aka Churchill responds after he was reported dead by a local news outlet

Kenyan celebrities understand how it feels to be killed by the internet. Every now and then there is a new fake story about a dead media personality and this time around it’s Churchill aka Mwalimu King’ang’i who was killed by the internet.

The story about his death spread like wild fire as he was reported to have been involved in a tragic road accident that happened on the Mai Mahiu-Suswa road.

The publishers of the story go on to say that his car slid off the highway hitting a pot hole which led to a head on collision that led to death.

However Churchill has come out to announce that this was a fake story and that he was well and alive. This is after he got multiple calls and texts by loved ones who were shocked by the details released about his death.

Through his social media pages, Churchill confirmed that he was doing okay. he wrote to say,

Earlier today he found himself in another mess with popular city socialite Soila Cole who was to featured in his new. The lass says Otile Brown owes her Ksh 5K for wasting her time after the plans they had failed.

Pastor Eric Omba cannot express how happy he is to have walked out alive moments after his car rolled three along Thika Road.

The pastor says he was out to meet a friend at Thika Road Mall (TRM) when he almost met his death. Unfortunately his Mark II rolled but thanks to God, he managed to escape with minor injuries. Speaking to a popular news outlet Pastor Omba says he was rushed to a nearby hospital before his family was called.

Details about his whereabouts were kept on the low until today when he got to open up about the accident. He said,

I had an accident on Sunday and it was a bad accident but fortunately God saved me. The car rolled three times while i was inside but I survived.

Looking at the photo from the accident, we can understand why the pastor counts himself as a lucky man. Anyway, he is now doing much better and is back with his new wife and their daughter.

DJ Mo has not had it easy since he shared a photo with Miss langata women’s prison ,Ruth Kamande, who was jailed after she stabbed her boyfriend 22 times.

Most of his fans have been leaving nasty comments under their photo and some have even gone to the extend of telling him that he hangs out with murders, something they do not approve.

However, the gospel DJ does not feel the same. To him Ruth Kamande remains a human being despite having made the wrong decisions in her past life. As a christian he believes that these are just some of the people Christians should be aiming to reach out inorder to help them rectify their mistakes.

During an interview with Kiss 100, the DJ made sure to tell his fans that he had every right to support a woman regardless of what she did in the past. His main aim for going to Langata Prisons was to show that he cares for their well being.

“I support all women regardless. I went to Lan’gata Women’s Prison to support women and she’s a woman. I don’t really care what she does, she’s in cell. So the fact remains she’s in custody sahi and I went there to celebrate women it’s only that we know her.”

“Otherwise hao wengine wamefungwa huko coz wakona makosa fulani, but sisi wenye hatujashikwa we have so many sins that don’t even show up so anyone can be forgiven. I shared that photo because she’s a woman and we were celebrating women.”

Singer Vanessa Mdee was released yesterday on bail after spending 5 days in police custody. The lady’s arrest was after her name appeared in the list of celebrities believed to be involved in drug abuse and trafficking.

However, after her release she said nothing through her social media pages until today when she shared a series of tweets through her official Twitter handle. Vanessa Mdee thanked her fans for the support not forgetting the celebrities who were rooting for her release through their social media pages.

Rayvanny’s girlfriend, Fahyma, has stopped hiding her baby bump and is now confident about her unborn child. Yesterday she shared a couple of photos on her gram as she flaunted her bump which looks like it is about to pop.

Unlike most pregnant women who prefer wearing big clothes to hide their bumps, Fahyma opted for a tiny black short and poncho as she posed for selfies with her friends.

During one of her Instagram live session the young girl revealed that she does not live with Vanny boy since they are not married, but they often spend a lot of time together and once in a while they have sleepovers.

Singer Harmonize is back with a new song dubbed Niambie and just like Ayiola and Bado the singer has nailed it! The new song apparently is dedicated to his girlfriend, Wolper Jackie, after it was reported the two had parted ways due to some issues.

However from what I have gathered, these two had only done this to help promote Harmonize’s new project and judging from how the audio is doing…there is no doubt that their strategy worked just fine.

Alikiba who is currently touring the United States performed this past weekend in Minnesota, USA attracting fans who enjoy Bongo music.

The 30 year old who is currently flying high with his Aje remix could not keep the fans from singing along to his songs.

Judging from the photos shared, most of the people who turned out were ladies and yes…all were looking too beautiful as they flashed their phones to record the artiste performing.

Finally it is official! Brenda Wairimu and Juliani are back together. I am saying this because it has been years since the two were spotted hanging out despite having a baby together.

However, the latest photo shared by both Juliani and Brenda Wairumu confirms that they are now together and if I am not wrong, already engaged.

Akothee’s daughter, Rue aka baby boss, is slowing following into her mum’s footsteps…and I am not talking about about music but how she carries herself.

She is confident, likes to shake what her mama gave her and mostly really proud of her skin color. Rue has been making appearances with her mother during shows and is slowly learning to love the lime light and the attention.

Going through her Instagram page, I almost confused her for a model judging from her pictures, posses and her physic. She is petite and has a height that would land her in any modelling agency of her choice.

However what caught my attention is a post she made about a guy she claims to be clings and is always on her back. Well, he is not a stalker or just anybody…but her mum’s personal photographer. He is the man behind her perfected photos and so far seems that the two see each other as ‘relatives’ as he refers to her as ‘siz’.

Judging from the pace Rue is moving at, pretty much sson she will be making headlines like her mum.

Anyway, Willy Paul has shared behind the scenes footage from his wedding song with Alaine and now fans get to see how much he was having the time of his life exchanging ‘vows’ with the Jamaican queen.

It is no secret that Diamond Platnumz has a lot of tattoos on his body and I doubt he even knows what some mean…just saying.

Anyway, during a recent interview the Tanzanian sensation revealed that he has a woman’s named tattooed on his body and to our surprise it is not his daughter’s name nor his baby mama’s. He revealed that he has the name Sandra written on him in Chinese or ~~is it chicken nuggets.~~

Last week Rayvanny was in the country for a special performance at B club in Kilimani. And during his short stay, the Tanzanian sweetheart managed to link up with Willy Paul and Bahati, Kenya’s top gospel artistes.

Mean while we struggle to catch a matatu at the bus station, DJ Mo is rolling with a brand new Range Rover that he recently purchased.

The gospel DJ has ditched his black Toyota Harrier for a new Range Rover and if I am not wrong, he was quite thirsty (for lack of better words) for this specific car and that is how he received a “Range Rover” birthday cake from his wife a few weeks ago.

Many have been asking where Juliani went to, but I guess he was just keeping a low profile as he carried his business as he has proven to be a man who enjoys to keep his life off social media.

Anyway, we have learnt that Juliani is engaged but we have no idea who the lucky lady is but in a way many assume that it could be his baby mama, Brenda Wairimu, who he was seen hanging out with a few days ago.

In a well detailed post, Juliani reveals that he has a fiance as he talks about the importance of bring honor to yourself. He goes on to say that having honor brings peace in someones life and this is something people should learn to practice. He wrote,

Singer Vanessa Mdee was arrested about a week by the Tanzanian police, as her name was in the list of the celebrities said to be using drugs and selling them.

And just like Wema Sepetu’s fate, the lass has not been released till now and most Tanzanian celebrities are now pleading for the government to release the lass. From the messages shared on social media, it it easy to tell that the lady is a people’s person.

Karun however reveal details about her pregnancy nor did she talk about the baby daddy. But speaking to WGLiveNetwork’s, an online radio – Miss Karun finally touched a few details about her pregnancy journey.

Just like any new mum-to-be the lady says that her first trimester was pretty much difficult as she had nobody by her side to help her through it.

“My first trimester was difficult. For most people it is difficult because you’re sick a lot. I went to Boston and I was by myself. I had to take long train rides to my apartment where I was living with people who weren’t very friendly, so that took a lot of strength, so that took a lot of strength… That? I don’t know where that strength came from. It’s like I have an extra reserve tank now, for when I feel depleted, it’s like Nope – you can keep going. I hope this is one of the things that stays into motherhood.”

She went on to admit that having a child inside her felt incredible even though sometimes it would feel difficult. So far she says she has lack of interest in music (pregnancy moods) and her creativity hits zero…however when the baby arrives she wishes to get back to her old self.

This is definitely the most powerful thing that’s ever happened to me, in all directions – not just powerful positive or powerful negative, it’s just… powerful. That Mother Earth kind of energy… I can try explain it to you, but also every woman’s pregnancy is different. What I personally experience is… random surges of creativity – but at the same time a lack of interest in music. So! My creativity has not been in what I’ve been or what I’ve invested my entire life into – which can be heartbreaking at times – but at least, I’ve had some kind of a (creative) release. Like – I still draw, I still paint, I still have incredible ideas that seem to come out of nowhere…

After being accused of breaching his contract by Dream Land Music, singer Otile Brown reveals the main reason he called it quits!

On Friday 11th, singer Otile Brown was fired by Dream Land Music which is owned by Dr. Eddie for allegedly going against their agreement after he walked out of a mutual and active contract without a notice.

For this reason the Dream Land Music prohibited the singer from performing or rather using all the songs and videos produced in their studios. He was warned for performing them at any events or any businesses purposes leaving him stranded with a music career but nothing to show that he has produced any songs before.

The singer however felt the pressure and according to his latest post, he assured his fans that his lawyers were handling the matter to save his career from being flashed down the drain…something that would ruin his brand.

Good Morning Kindly allow this to be the last post I am making in regards to my situation with Dream Land Music, as the matter is being handled by my lawyer. I did not want to tackle our issues on these platforms but I have tried by all means to have a dialogue with Dr. Eddie and solve our matters in a decent way but my efforts have proved futile, despite intervention by our close business associates and even respectful artistes. I acknowledge the fact that Dr Eddie nurtured my talent and I appreciate his efforts in my music career so far. I handed my termination notice through my lawyer in good time and this is because there was breach of contract from the management side hence my decision to leave. If the deal and treatment was good and all satisfactory I would not have left nor have the thoughts of leaving. I believe if Dream Land Music have a problem with my departure they should follow the right channels so that we can sort out this matter or we just have a decent sit down and iron out our issues, but not taking down my music from YouTube as a way of frustrating and blackmailing me. Dream Land Music never owned me on 100% basis and hence has no right to stop me from performing the music or even interfering with my work as this is my intellectual property. I really want to put this matter to rest so that I can concentrate on my music. Gospel artist from Tanzania, Christina Shusho believes that every woman should believe in themselves in order to stand out and be respected in the community.

Speaking during an interview with TBC1 the singer said that women face many issues something people don’t understand. It takes a lot of patience and heart for anyone to face some of these difficulties but as for a woman, she can endure it just for the sake of protecting her family.

For this reason, Shusho urged women to raise their standards in order to get the respect their truly deserve. being submissive does not simply mean one should be mistreated or rather mishandled in the society. She went on to add that women will only get the respect they deserve when they start by doing it themselves.

To conclude her statement, the singer reminded many that mothers are special and this makes every female special too. She said,

Risper Faith was forced to pound on Mishi Dorah on the last episode aired by Nairobi Diaries after she called her barren…not exact words but from the Swahili words she was heard throwing around it was clear to understand what she meant.

Controverial businessman Paul Kobia released on bail after kidnapping a Congolese man who allegedly owes him Ksh 40 million

Paul Kobia has once more found himself in trouble after he was accused of trying to kidnap a man who owes him about ksh 40 Million.

According to the reports making rounds on social media, Kobia is said to have abducted Congolese businessman Bachard Londole from his house at Kindaruma road and threatened him with a gun.

During that process, Londole apparently got hurt and was rushed to Nairobi Women’s hospital where he was reported to have received multiple head injuries that saw him get admitted for further treatment.

Kobi was however arrested yesterday and arraigned in court today with four other suspects Alvin Anzaya, Nelson Muyi, John Mutwiri and Martin Mwangi who were present during the abduction and are said to be Kobia’s employees.

The Controversial businessman was however set free on a cash bail of 100k and bond of 200K for the other four suspects as they are believed to have helped their boss attack the Congolese fella.

Kobia and his men were however lucky as the Milimani Resident Magistrate Miriam Mugure granted them a cash bail after the police had insisted on havng him locked up for 14 days to help with the investigation.

Wema Sepetu look as though she could be a mother of a certain unknown baby spotted on social media just recently. From their eye to their lips and the similarities don’t end there, which is why this is freaking us out a little.

The baby believed to be from Tanzania could be confused as Wema Sepetu’s daughter even thoug we are aware that she has been struggling to get pregnant for a while now.

Lat year she suffered a miscarriage four months after she got pregnant with her ex boyfriend Idris Sultan. According to what she revealed, the lass and the popular radio host cum comedian were expecting twins. But unfortunately they never got to meet them.

Just recently Wema Sepetu was photographed rocking a baby bump and we are not quite sure whether it’s the sudden weight gain or if she is expecting another child.

The blogger who is well known for her curves and fashionable taste introduced the little boy on her gram a few hours ago leaving many excited at the sight of the baby boy.
