I’m guessing if it was meant to be Willis Raburu and Sally Mbilu would now be husband and wife, but relationships are not so easy to deal with and this is why the two called off their engagement months after dating.

But at that time Raburu had already purchased an engagement ring worth Ksh 100,000 and from how he was acting, the fella was ready to settle down. However, it was confirmed that the two had split in January 2016 and they both moved on with their lives.

Willis Raburu from then started keeping a low profile on his personal life and so did Sally Mbilu. Now that we are in 2017, the lass has now come back with a bang and boy does she look fine…I mean fine! Thanks to her social media pages some of her new photos have confirmed that she is not what she used to be.

We are now living in a generation where children from the age of 8 years know what sex is. Therefore, it is not a suprise that Nick Mutuma actually gives his small brother condoms or rather contraceptives when he needs them, something that has left many questioning him.

However, Nick Mutuma is actually being real and just like any wise brother he wouldn’t want his younger one’s to get lost because many people want to admit that young children are now sexually active.

He revealed this during the premier of MTV’s drama series, Shuga in Nairobi where he opened up about the importance accepting that sex is no longer a topic to shy away from. And since he wouldn’t want his brother to be a father at 16 years, then he makes sure that he is always set just in case he id caught up in a compromising situation.

I have a 16 year old brother though and though we have that conversation all the time…and I just give him…and i’m like please be safe

When asked whether he would do the same if he had a 13 year old sister, the actor was confident to say yes, though he admitted that it wouldn’t be a good picture to imagine his younger sister engaging in sex.

Anyway, he is the only Kenyan actor who got to feature in Shuga season 5 and as usual, he made sure his swag and acting skills were impressing.

King kaka’s baby mama singer Sage Chemutai could not hide her joy when her daughter turned 3 years just recently. She joined the list of friends sending her baby girl, Ayanna beautiful messages as she celebrated her special day.

Through her Instagram page Sage poured out her heart to baby Ayanna describing her as the love of her life and the best thing that has ever happened to her. Sage went on to add that she calls her ‘Nathan’ something that has left me wondering what she meant. She shared the post below to celebrate the little girl.

Businessman Steve Oduk has been the talk of town since he shared photos from his girlfriend’s baby shower that went down this past weekend.

For those who don’t remember him, Steve Oduk is the man who spent 2.5 Million shillings on his girlfriend’s, Bambi, lavish birthday party last year.

The likes of Paul Kobia, Jared Otieno, Ben Kangangi, Erskine Kiliru, Daniel Peter Weke Capital and close friend Joe Muchiri were among those who were invited to the private baby shower that was kept on a low profile until it came.

Willy Paul apparently still isn’t over his longtime feud with singer Bahati, as he recently posted something that implies he was taking shots at his arch enemy during his studio session with Creme dela Creme.

The two are the most popular gospel artists of this generation and have hanged out together, appeared on each other’s Instagram pages, and even exchanged shout-outs in interviews. But it seems that the same things that have brought them together tore them apart.

Prezzo has always been the king of bling-bling. There is no day that passes and he is not spotted wearing a gold chain, bracelet and ring. In East Africa, he was recognized as the one of the artists who rock expensive jewelry until just recently when Diamond Platnumz paraded his babies on social media.

According to Diamond Platnumz he spent $72,000 to get his gold chains and his rings that have Diamonds (like his name). He paraded his jewelry on social media leaving fans shocked and admiring his collection which he accompanied with a brief caption thanking God for ~~enabling him to buy expensive jewelry~~ blessing him.

Thanks God for my new GOLD & DIAMONDS collection…i never thought i would be able to hang 50,000$ on my neck…

He went on to post another picture parading his rings and bracelets that cost him $22,000 and judging from the caption he was ‘afraid’ his manager would question him for having blown all that money to purchase his new babies. He wrote to say,

Ladashabelle is now old enough to move into her own room and her parents are ensuring that she does this as soon as possible. Thanks to Size 8’s social media pages we now know this through their new YouTube station that updates their fans on #TheMurayas Vlog.

According to Size 8 it has taken them about a year and some months to evict their daughter from their room as they were not ready to give their daughter her own room as they were scared of letting her sleep alone. This is because she was born prematurely. Through the Vblog Size said…

I have not been using my babies room…to be honest this is because she was born prematurely. he was 1.7kgs when we brought her home. me and my husband were so scared to let her sleep in the room alone. She was sleeping in our room.

Well, any mum in her shoes would have done the same but now that the little girl is all grown up and is leaening to talk she feels that it’s time she got her own room. The gospel singer went on to add that,

But it is about time for her to fly to fly away from the parents and get her own room away from the parents room. She is fully grown, yeah….you never know maybe we may get baby number two.

Though it sounds like a joke, could be that Size 8 and her hubby are now trying to get pregnant. We all know that it took them a while before they got their first born.

Michelle Yola finally gets rid of that ‘one thing’ connecting her with ex, Prezzo…and no it’s not a baby!

So their break up was not another stunt! Seems things are serious as Michelle Yola recently got rid of the Prezzo tattoo a few months after she got it as a symbol of her love for her ex fiance, Prezzo.

The Nairobi Diaries star had earlier revealed that she wanted to get rid of the tattoo now that she was no longer seeing the rapper.

However, as advised by a popular tattoo artist, Michelle Yola just needed to have the tattoo covered instead of using the lazer removal process that leaves a scar behind…and I hear is very painful.

Huddah Monroe is currently enjoying her stay in Beverly Hills where she visited to get one of her boobs fixed as revealed on her social media handles.

This time around she made sure to grace Beverly Hills which is known for it’s beauty and celebrities, being one of the hottest and I must add expensive socialites in Africa, Huddah paid a visit to Dr. Eugene Kim and Dr. David Kim’s plastic surgery hospital to have one of her implants replaced…maybe to have her breasts look the same.

For some reason many people still think that comedian Sleepy David knocked up actress Jacky Vike, something that he has come to openly deny. On Friday the fella shared Jacky Vike aka Awinja photo to congratulate her for finally revealing she was expecting her first child.

Though he did not respond to any of the posts, I reached out to him to find out whether he was aware that the world was congratulating him for getting Jacky pregnant. He was however cool and calm as he explained that the two were just friends and that he respects Jacky Vike’s relationship.

Anyway, there you have it! Sleepy is not the father to Jacky Vike’s unborn baby and as we revealed last week, the lass and her man held a traditional wedding sometime last year; therefore Awinja is somebody’s wife and fortunately it’s not sleepy.

When Bahati revealed that he was to release a collabo with Rayvanny, we all thought Willy Paul was going to choke on his pride however, what many didn’t know is that he had even bigger plans for his career.

It has been a while since we heard from Jackson Kamau aka DJ Soxxy…but thanks to his social media, we can keep up with the fella and is family.

So recently I decided to go through his Instagram hoping to bump into something interesting and as usual, of course I did. Do you remember the last time you saw his kids? Well,now they are grown and his last born, Ethan, is now learning how to walk and he is slowly taking after his mother.

Victoria Kimani has finally addressed an issue that has been eating many Kenyan artists for years now. Most of them have had to struggle with being given petty money to perform as opening acts for foreign artists especially Nigerians.

This issue has made many artists give up on their careers as they feel unappreciated by their own country which never gives them a chance to prove what they are really made of. In a detailed post, Victoria Kimani started off by saying…

Riding around Nairobi, seeing billboards on top of billboards of these shows, why are none of us headlining? Why does it have to be this way… year after year after year…. we constantly place every other country, city, town above our own, Not every artist has the opportunities That A few of us have to leave Kenya and be seen on stages with that wide Africa reach, what the hell would I do if I didn’t have those opportunities,,,, I’d sit here and either throw my own concert (coming soon) …. or wait to be some so called’ opening act for less than ksh200K … while we watch them make $50,000 – $100,000 right in our face!

The singer went on to add that countries like Tanzania and Uganda appreciate their own artists and this is why they are becoming better than us, which is true. It is unfortunate that our own artists have to be treated like they don’t matter and when they make it everyone pretends to show much they are pretending.

Why can’t we learn from Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, South Africa and many more and be as excited to see ourselves as we are others?! And then get mad and wanna call me Nigerian because I am blessed to be booked there from time to time…: wow guys…. This self hate we got has to change pretty soon or we will keep loosing gems like Lupita who many of you literally chased away, then get mad if she acts brand new on you when she’s back home 😂 mannn all I’m saying is book us now before you can no longer afford us. Brands too…. use your local faces ! Thanks to her music, the lady has been making some positive progress that include landing gigs and getting a chance to dine with the big fish in the entertainment industry.

Since she walked out on Timmy Tidat her career has been doing better than expected and I am assuming she knows this too. Anyway, just recently she had a chance to talk with Mzazi on Mambo Mseto and the lady did not have much to say about her ex, Timmy Tdat.

This is after she declared to have changed her lifestyle and was now saved sometime last year, something she also denied during the interview, saying that she drinks once in a while just like everyone else.

After 5 years of running “Deeper Sounds of Nairobi” a successful podcast hosted on itunes, Jack Rooster and some of his friends thought it would be great to have a live gathering for all to come and enjoy the Deeper Sounds Of Nairobi together.

This inaugural event dubbed “Deeper Sounds Of Nairobi LIVE” featured sounds from Knord, Yellow Light Machine, Inami, DJVidza, MosehDrumist, Solvation and Jack Rooster performed in front of an audience of over 650 strong.

Knord warmed up the evening with his smooth and soulful House tunes up until. DJ Vidza took over and started filling up the dance floor with her groovy Afro House mix while Lindsay got busy painting the faces of willing participant.

As the crowd grew larger,Jack Rooster took charge of the controls, accompanied by Moseh Drumist, Dancers and the lovely vocals of Mo and Kijo (both from Yellow Light Machine),the night was well on its way to epic!

Jack Rooster’s set comprised of a mix of live elements ranging from percussion to live vocals. At the strike of Midnight,Kenyan House Music songstress, Inami took the stage, the dance floor got even more packed as she belted note after note while Jack Rooster spun and effected the instrumental in the background.Jack then leading the crowd into a journey of progressive house and old school hiphop culminating in a mad frenzy of Afro-House with Moseh in accompaniment.

Jane Ngoiri is finally a mother of one and from the look of things, she seems to be enjoying motherhood. She however chooses to keep her son’s life on the low and this is no surprise as she has always kept a low profile when it comes to her private life.

Jaguar’s entry into the Starehe Constituency Race complicates matters for Steve Mbogo, Maina Kamanda and Boniface Mwangi

Popular Kenyan Musician Charles Njagua Kanyi aka Jaguar has declared his interest to vie for the Starehe constituency come August 8 in the general elections.

Jaguar who is a personal friend to President Uhuru Kenyatta was appointed as a board member at the National Authority for Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) in 2015.A position which he resigned later last month due to personal reasons.

Jaguar’s entry into the the Stare MP race will see him face some popular names like activist Boniface Mwangi, city business man Steve Mbogo and the incumbent MP Maina Kamanda. Mwangi will be vying on the recently launched Ukweli party , Steve Mbogo on an ODM ticket whereas Jaguar and Maina Kamanda will be using the Jubilee party ticket. Close sources told us that local leaders from Starehe constituency approached Jaguar to represent their people in the coming elections since he had proved that he can do it through his various community projects. Area residents believe that he can extend his good deeds when elected as their political leader.

Through the Jaguar foundation, he has been able to empower the youth in various part of the city like donating Car washing machines, cleaning various parts of the city, building bridges, giving out foodstuff to women and empowering the local youth groups especially in the Mukuru slums. Such projects have won many hearts of the Starehe residents which gives the former NACADA director a upper hand in the race.

Starehe residents say that they need someone who can represent their needs in Parliament and not someone who will be fighting the government using the same position. Sources from the ground also said that the residents need a leader who will represent all the tribes and not someone who will be vying on tribal basis which makes Jaguar a favorite among the rest in clinching the seat come August 8 when the general elections will be held. Jaguar being a youth and his closeness to the president and his deputy definitely makes his bid to be an easier one.

Ama ni katabia? Is Tanzanian singer Darassa a con artist who is out to swindle Kenyan event organizers?

Seems that Kenyans are fed up with how Darassa has been dodging them every time he is set to perform in the country.

It has happened three times in the last two months and I hear together with his Kenyan manager, they usually post posters to advertise he is coming after down payment is made, then when it comes to perform he doesn’t show up.

He didn’t show up at the Blue lounge as expected and neither did he grace X’s millionaires…something that makes many wonder why, yet he claims to love his Kenyan fans.

Fans have however come out to question whether he is a con artist out to get that Kenyan money the easy way or he just not interested in performing in our clubs.

Anyway, speaking to Mzazi yesterday, Darassa claimed that he was having issues with the event organizers who were not ready to meet his demands.

So, who is telling the truth?

Now that he is in the country promoting his music, maybe the Muziki hit maker can explain why he is always disappointing fans.

If you think Nairobi Diaries fights are staged then you must have missed the recent episode aired on K24. At first many were not sure whether the petite Serah Molly won the fight she had with Bridget Achieng but after watching the reality show last night, I might as well confirm that indeed Serah walked away as the winner…~~not that i really care.~~

However, what is more shocking is that Bridget Achieng got her jumpsuit torn and was left with bruises and blood clots on her body after her cat fight with Serah Molly…I mean how did that honestly happen?

It was pretty much shocking that the two ladies got into a fight over petty issues that sounded like primary school cases. But truth be told, many Kenyans enjoy this show despite calling it fake and staged.

We are getting tired of hearing Darassa will be performing in Kenya, then he never shows up. Who should be blamed… Darassa or the event organizers?

This past weekend March 18, Tanzanian sensation Darassa was set to perform at the KICC but unfortunately this never happened. Darassa who is currently in the country to promote his music had the chance to open up about why he did not perform as expected yet tickets had been bought.

Speaking to Willy M Tuva on Mambo Mseto, Darassa revealed that he had agreed to perform in Kenya but just like any other big artist he had his conditions which were not met.

His management had asked the Kenyan organizers to pay him first before they put up posters to advertise the show but as usual they did the opposite.Flyers and banners advertising his show were making rounds on social media a few days to the day he was to perform at the KICC.

However, when the day came fans were left stranded with no plan B, as the venue was hosting Richie Spice.

Anyway, when Willy M Tuva called up the organizers to hear their side of the story and Martin (one of the organizers) was quick to say that the show did not take place due to the limited time and that the venue (KICC) was actually over booked making it hard for the Tanzanian singer to perform.

Fans on the other hand are getting exhausted from the fake promises of having Darassa perform his hitsong Muziki months after it was released. How long will they have to wait for this particular artist?

About two weeks ago we highlighted a story about Size 8 complaining about the weight she has gained since she got married to DJ Mo.

For this reason she reached out to her hubby asking for a personal fitness trainer. And unlike most wives, Size 8 did not ask for this in private but she put her request on her social media pages and looks like it worked as her demand was met by DJ Mo.

Just recently she shared a photo working out with her husband and the personal trainer he hired for her. Looking at the photo she shared on her Instagram, I can’t help but notice it is within their compound… meaning the trainer has to come all the way to her place every morning for their workout session…wait isn’t that expensive? So, I guess Otile Brown not only owes Soila Cole Ksh.5000 but he also owes DR Eddie a lot of money which was used to manage him for the two years he was under Dreamland music. By managing him, Dr Eddie meant that he had been paying for Otile Brown’s music videos among other things since he brought to the limelight.

But now that Otile Brown walked out on them, all Dr Eddie needs is the money he invested in the young man’s career to unmute his music on YouTube.

Speaking to Rashid Abdalla on Udaku sasa which airs on NTV, DR Eddie says that he has no issue with Otile Brown and there is no beef between them. However, he needs Otile Brown to pay up the money he owes Dreamland music for everything to go back to business as usual.

Dr Eddie went on to add that he actually moved Otile Brown from coast to Nairobi and even rented him an apartment as this was part of the contract, to maintain the artist.

The photo believed to have been shared by a popular Tanzania blog has left Zari Hassan calling out Hamisa Mobetto as one of Diamond Platnumz side chicks.

Yes! Mercy Masika met her rib and is not shy to admit that she is still in love with him despite being married for many years.

She recently opened up about how she met her ~~zdaddy~~ hubby, David and just like a fairy she felt that he was totally different from the other guys she had met before.

Speaking to Pulse the singer says she met David in 2007 at a wedding she had gone to perform and being fresh from Campus she wanted to make a good impression and had arrived to the wedding 2 hours before the wedding began and this is how she bumped into David who was also working at the event as a videographer.

Mercy Masika says she woke up with a good mood that morning without knowing that she was about to meet the one man that would complete her wholly leave alone spend the rest of his forever with her.

From what she says it is clear to see that Mr David had some pretty good game as he asked for her number in a way that wouldn’t look suspicious.

She says that she fell in love with his messages that he occasionally sent and for some reason was convinced that he was heaven sent as every message he sent in tune with what she had probably been thinking about or planning to do.

Dr Ofweneke who is a comedian, MC, songwriter, actor and a motivational speaker has left many shocked after a video of him drunk surfaced thanks to popular news outlet, Mpasho.

Word going around is that she held her private bridal shower three weeks before her big wedding. This comes a few months after Liz Ntonjira and her husband finalized their traditional wedding before they held the white wedding.

Citizen TV’s news anchor Lilian Muli cannot get enough of her little man, Joshua Munene who is growing up really fast.

This past weekend she took sometime to spend with her son then later on shared an adorable photo flaunting him to her social media fans. Through her Instagram page, Lilian Muli uploaded the photo captioning it to say,

It is no secret that she adores her baby boy and even though she split with her baby daddy the new anchor has made sure that her son gets all he desires.

However, Lilian Muli enjoys to keep her private life on the low and she only shares her sons photos when she feels like it.

Anyway, the latest photo shows that her son has grown into a fine young man who seems to take after his dad in terms of looks and complexion.

Diamond Platnumz is making sure his little prince, Nillan, has the best even at his tender. The singer and his wife recently bought their son amazing and very lavish gifts that has left many talking.

Just like Tiffah Dangote, Diamond Platnumz has purchased very expensive custom made toy cars for his son and we can’t help but wonder how much he spent to get them.

Diamond Platnumz is loving the fact that he can lavish his little babies with tons of gifts, so it’s no surprise he went ahead to buy new cars for his son yet he could have inherited the ones Tiffah had been bought for before.

For a while now we have seen the singer get out of the way to spend for his son who is the brand ambassador of one popular mall in Tanzania.

From what he wears we can also tell that the little boy is always n designer outfits and so far is the most popular male child in the Tanzanian entertainment scene. But what can one expect when his parents are celebrities in Africa? Well who knows…

Betty Kyalo and her family celebrate their late grandmother who passed on at 101 years

When a parent passes on at 100 years, we call this a blessing and not a loss as very few people get to live or beyond the age of 100 years.

Betty Kyalo’s family this past weekend gathered to celebrate their late grandmother, Cucu Beatrice Mutei, who passed on at the age of 101 years as revealed.

Through their eldest brother’s,Brian Msafiri, instagram account we have learnt that the family traveled to their rural home to give their grandmother the final send off as they celebrated her 101 years. He wrote to say,

18-3-2017 … Laid to rest the great matriarch of the Kang’ulyu family. Our granny, Cucu Beatrice Mutei ‘Kinanda’, was 101 years. This was a true celebration of life … An event we as family cherished. On my right is my Pops, Major Kyallo.

Brian Msafiri also got to introduce his father who we rarely see on their social media pages. He definitely looks like his son and now we know where Betty Kyalo got her amazing smile.

From the reports going around this party is said to have gone down at their ‘white house’ in Mombasa and it cost Akothee about 500k for the perfect party.

Man gets a crazy send off as two ladies twerk and grind on the coffin carrying his body

There must be some type of drugs people are currently abusing because of how they behave.

There is a new video making rounds on social media and from the comments most people seem not to believe their eyes as two girls get on top of the coffin to twerk and grind.

The video which might have been shot in Venezuela or Colombia shows how they were celebrating their loved one and since he apparently liked reggaeton music, he had to be given a proper send off.

The ladies, one in a white skirts twerks on the coffin without caring that her panty was being seen. The one in pants continues to shake before they pour water on her as a way of showing their appreciation for the ~~lap~~ dance

Anyway, not everyone seemed suprise as some people commented to say that they would want the same send off.
