Tabitha Karanja Hapana Tambua Nepotism: Her Daughter Annerlisa Reveals How She Had To Start From the Bottom In Order To Land a Job at Keroche Breweries (Photo)
As the C.E.O of Keroche Breweries, Tabitha Karanja is the only Kenyan who owns a large-scale brewery.
She is also part of the super-influential clique of female brewery-bosses across the continent and a recipient of the prestigious Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (M.B.S.) Award from former president Mwai Kibaki.
But her journey to the top has not been easy as she has fought some really powerful and underhanded competitors , monopoly and super high-taxes among other battles.
Maybe that is why she didn’t hand her daughter Annerlisa a job when she came looking for a job as a marketer in the company, forcing her to work her way up and earn her position in Keroche breweries. After her impressive work ethic, Annerlisa has joined the Keroche Marketing team.
She made her announcement with this:
I first applied for a Marketing job in Keroche breweries but due to lack of enough experience, i was denied the job 🙁 so what next? i decided to start Nero company Ltd to produce #executivestillwater , to learn more and maybe re-apply for the marketing job >>>> fast forwarding to today (after 2 years) i have finally been given a job in the marketing department at KB. i will be working mainly on the Summits #summitlager and #summitmalt and Vodkas #cresent, #lemontwist. That aside i have also learnt that its all about believing in yourself and not giving up. :)*
