Swahili News Anchor Ann Ngugi Back At KTN (Photos)

For more than 12 years, Ann Ngugi wowed us with her charm, poise and her impeccable mastery of the Swahili language at KTN.

She left the Standard Media owned TV station for K24 where she unfortunately lost her job while she was pregnant with twins.

In the company of her lovely daughter Angel Wanjiru , Anne made a comeback to KTN where she was on the bench with Jeff Koinange. During last night’s episode of Jeff Koinange Live, Anne and Angel talked about overcoming the odds when it came to Angel’s Conginental Hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus is a condition where cerebral fluid accumulates in the brain cavities causing the head to swell.

Kenyans were inspired by Anne’s resilience when it came to saving her baby and by Angel’s bravery, confidence and intelligence.
