Sultry Brick & Lace Member Signed by Kenya-based Company
One half of the world renown Pop/Reggae duo Brick & Lace, Nyanda, has signed a lucrative deal with Mtech Kenya , a communications company with interests in music and entertainment.
The deal which was inked in March 2014 will see Mtech Kenya get exclusive rights to sell Nyanda’s music online and via mobile phones across the continent. This will include, MP3 downloads, Caller Ring Back Tones and Full tracks.
According to Mtech’s Head of Content, Shiro Mwendwa, “The appetite for dancehall music in Africa has grown immensely, as a company we would like to contribute to that growth by making dancehall music available in all parts of the continent where we have a foothold”
Nyanda and her sister Nalia amicably agreed to take a break after doing well in international circles courtesy of their hits “Love is Wicked” and “Bad To The Bone” which saw the sisters tour the world. Nalia opted to concentrate on interior design while Nyanda decided to focus on doing music.
