Stupid Luo And Maasai Students Clash Over Petty Issue Causing Maasai Mara University To Be Closed Indefinitely

Tribalism played out dirty in Maasai Mara University leaving scores of students injured prompting the administration to close the varsity.

It’s SO SHAMEFUL for enlightened students to fight along tribal lines like ordinary unschooled folks brainwashed by different entities.

Luo and Maasai students lock horns over a football match in which both side claimed victory following a 1-1 draw. The game was supposed to mark the end of the cultural week in the Narok based varsity.

The tension started on Saturday afternoon when students hurled stones at each other; the police were called in to intervene and contain the situation.

Things went out of control the following day when a group said to be from the Maasai community stormed into a hall where students were watching EPL game between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, and started attacking students haphazardly causing a wild rush out of the hall.

A number of students got injured during the attack prompting those with serious injuries were taken to Narok County Referral Hospital.

The university was closed indefinitely yesterday following Sunday’s violence.
