Deputy President was in Kakamega County the other day and he couldn’t stop himself from being nostalgic when he toured Likuyani constituency.

If you must know, this is where he met his lovely wife whom he has managed to raise a family with.

He talked about how he walked 6KM almost every day just to see her from Sugoi to Likuyani and thus was very much attached to the road leading him there.

“I was fond of using the same road when coming to see her, so I feel it is my duty to have it carpeted as a sign of appreciation to my in-laws.” SDE quotes the DP who was referring to Soi-Kogo road.

In the process he also took time to assure the constituents of Likuyani that he had no intention of habouring a second wife as he was satisfied with what the residents had given him.

He would however ask them to vote for him and the entire Jubilee fraternity as he would continue to take of them like he takes care of his wife.

If you can trust me with your daughter, then you should be able to trust me with your votes,” he said.

Ruto and his wife have been blessed with 6 children.
