STL’s New Video Set For Television Release in Kenya

STL’s brand new music video “Bad As I Wanna Be” is set for a TV edit release today on most of the country’s leading television stations.

The track, which was released on the 29th of June 2012 has already garnered over 22,000 YouTube views as well as receiving extensive airplay on radio stations across Kenya.

STL’s new song features a brand new look for the singer who chose to tap into her ‘bad girl’ persona and go back to her strictly hip hop roots. The Eastlands neighbourhood feel of the video also adds authenticity to the title as well as setting a new creative standard for the ‘hood’ scene in Kenya.

The intial video had been given a rating for 16 mostly because of language on the track but the edited replay will be moderated. STL’s video with the highest YouTube views is her 2011 single ‘Lookie Lookie’ which has over 629,000 views to date.
