Sonko Returns To Work After Stepping Down For Months… But Who Was The First To Welcome Him Back?

60 days since the President tabled the infamous corruption list of shame, Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has finally stepped into office after stepping aside to pave way for investigations into corruption allegations leveled against him.

It seems the Senator is a free man. He has not, however, been out of the limelight. In fact he has been around with his Sonko Rescue Team, an initiative he started to help Nairobians.

But who was at hand to welcome the senator back to work?

Well, it was one of Kenya’s finest footballers, Dennis Oliech. Mike Sonko has shared a photo of the two sharing good moments together in his office and says they were discussing matters Kenyan football.

Here is what the senator said:

sonko
