Sonko Opens Up About The Four Kikuyu Wives He Has In Kiambu And Kirinyaga Counties

So Nairobi Senator isn’t monogamous after all! Sonko has revealed he has wives in Kirinyaga and Kiambu Counties.

Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko last Sunday joined Kiambu Governor William Kabogo and a number of MPs for a public rally at Gitothua High School in Ruiru Constituency.

Kabogo used the platform to fire salvos at Kabete MP, Ferdinand Waititu, who is his fiercest competitor for 2017 Kiambu gubernatorial race.

Meanwhile Sonko used the opportunity to confess he was polygamous; the Nairobi senator revealed he was an in-law to the people of Kiambu and Kirinyaga.

“Na wale washenzi ambao hawaelewi Sonko vizuri, mimi ni shemeji yenu jamii ya Wakikuyu. Mimi my second born nimezaa pale Kirinyaga, nko na bibi kutoka pale Kirinyaga. Nko na bibi pale Murang’a, nko na bibi pale Makuyu, nko na bibi hapa Ruiru.” Sonko told the crowd.

Translation:

“For those knuckleheads that don’t know Sonko well, I am related to the Kikuyu community by marriage. I sired my second born with a woman from Kirinyaga, I have a wife in Murang’a, I have a wife in Makuyu, I even have a wife here in Ruiru.”
