Sonko Intends To Adopt A Second Child From This Woman Sleeping In Muthurwa Market (Photos)

The philanthropic legislator has approached a woman sleeping in the cold at Nairobi’s Muthurwa market with intentions of adopting her baby.

Sonko first adopted child is Baby Satrine Osinya whom Sonko took under his care when terrorist sprayed bullets in a Church in Mombasa killing the mother on the spot and leaving Osinya with a bullet in his skull.

The Nairobi Senator learnt of the plight of one Hellen Nasieki on social media. The lady was a vendor in the streets of Nairobi who used to sleep in Muthurwa market alongside her young baby girl.

Sonko was touched by her story and he decided to give her a second shot in life. The lawmaker sent for Hellen and they met in his office where Sonko offered her interesting proposal.

Sonko wants to adopt her daughter, Christine, plus he also offered to employ Hellen as his home assistant.

“After going through Hellen Nasieki’s story on social media i volunteered to offer a helping hand. Yesterday I invited her, plus her daughter Christine and a good samaritan Ndung’u Nyoro for a lunch meeting in my office. I was quite saddened by Hellen’s living conditions so i offered to give her a second chance at life. I proposed to adopt her daughter Christine and to also work closely with Hellen Nasieki as my home assistant.” Sonko disclosed.
