Something For Late Night IMAX Movie Goers to Smile About!

Late night movie goers will love the news that IMAX Kenya have just announced. From now on, the final show of the day, which is usually just past midnight, will be screened at a reduced price of Kshs. 400.

This follows similar news in the past few weeks that the first two shows of the day at the cineplex on Nairobi’s Mama Ngina Street would also be offered at Kshs. 400.

The introduction of the only IMAX theatre in East and Central Africa has been welcomed with packed-to-capacity cinema halls and a widely positive response from Kenya’s movie-goers.

The movie showing currently at the IMAX, the Amazing Spiderman starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, is one such example of the overwhelming response with over 1,000 people showing up on the premiere date, according to IMAX Kenya. The other title airing is Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted.

The next title to be featured is the Dark Knight Rises, which is set for release on the 27th of July 2012.
