Shock As A Priests’ Training School In Meru School Becomes The 117th Institution To Go Up In Flames (Photos)
A seminary school yesterday had the undistinguished claim of becoming the 117th school to go up in flames.
St Pius Seminary Nkubu in Meru was closed after students set sections of dormitories on fire in the late evening hours as others were in class. Several of the students still in the dormitories had to scamper for safety but no injuries were reported.
Police and the school authorities have started investigations. It seems like a bad time for Nkubu schools as the neighboring Nkubu High school was on 25th closed indefinitely following a dispute between Form 3 students and their Form 4 counterparts leading to the chaos.
